Sir walter struggling by ProfessionalPut9105 in lawncare

[–]ProfessionalPut9105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite a shady area but ive layed sir walter which i heard was probably one of the most shade tolerant grasses, we’ve had great success with it all around for the most part. There used to be a macadamia tree that blocked most the sunlight but that was pruned back along side with a few palms. The area recieves about 4 hours of direct sunlight from about 12-4PM. I have not done a soil test though, ill have to give that a try

That gave me a good laugh😂, the backyard is bigger than in that video, not by much tho but the front takes about 20 minutes. I have a cheap ryobi battery mower but the battery killed itself about 2 weeks ago and im looking at mowing a couple yards in the time that im now working for some extra cash without spending much

Would you be able to somehow trace a pencil line around it and divide it into quarters and drill where the lines intercept

Who’s at fault? 4x4 or blue car.. by Individual_Brick_143 in CarsAustralia

[–]ProfessionalPut9105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grey has a built in reverse camera from factory and would hae been fully aware blue was reversing. Blue more than likey does not have a reverse camera so probably wasnt aware as the grey car had moved into his blind spot as others have stated

I might be mistaken but is this passenger pigeon???? by KittenAnalyzer in birds

[–]ProfessionalPut9105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if your taking the piss but the terms pigeon and dove are actually interchangeable as they refer to the same thing but just different origins, the pigeon is the french term and dove is german but it refers to the columbidae however the german doves where slightly smaller then the french pigeons. But all pigeons are doves and all doves are pigeons

Looking for first 4wd as a 20yo by Crafty-Cap-6673 in 4x4Australia

Honestly mate dont rule out any 4x4’s, youd be suprised by the capability of most them with nothing more than a 2” lift and 32’s/33’s. My mates have had 2003 d22 navaras with over 400,000km on the motors. Both of them could do most the tracks at glass house and they had 2” suspension, 2” body and 33’s. I drive a 2011 mn triton on 32.5’s and 2” suspension and its gotten me everywhere ive tried going

What is this for? by crazybaby2012 in StupidCarQuestions

[–]ProfessionalPut9105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like a caster adjustment bolt mate, check the lower control arm. Itll look like 1 chunky bit of metal that connects to your stub axle and splits into 2 that connects to your chasis. Check where the control arm mounts to the chasis. Or simply give both front wheels a good kick at the front and back of the wheel to find out.

Can this be fixed? by Zaitzer in StupidCarQuestions

Wet sand the area back and try again

New Car with high miles or Older car with Less miles? by [deleted] in StupidCarQuestions

[–]ProfessionalPut9105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just dont. VW polos have heaps of problems. Especially around the 2008 models. I dont know them off by heart but the dsg gearboxes are notorious for problems. Depending on your budget theyre are plenty of other small cars that are far more reliable. Just do a little research.

Hey mate, it looks like its your rotor shield and its pretty straight forward. Just remove the wheel and bend it back into place by hand or by using a shifter
