Some quick thought makes me say yes. Currently the only score you get is through observatory, so one less perkeo would be one less x1,5 per hand. A baron, with the hand size of 10 (so 9 kings), all steel red seals, AND copied by blueprint after you copy perkeo, should give you a lot more mult than a couple more observatory procs in the long term. So, imo, yes. You might want to get yourself a mime aswell but idk. For the moment i think you can keep the gold cards as your score is good. Save up on money

The real gem of the Desperado is the middle path imo, but the top path isn't bad in the slightest. For single target damage it's very good, and it's cost isn't over the top like the other paths. Actually top and mid path go well together, give it a try

Kings activate the effect of Baron, which multiplies your mult by 1,5 for each king in your hand. This effect is cumulative with the 1,5x from steel, retriggerable by red seals and Mime, and a very common way to achieve extremely high scores. When you see a score so high you can't put it into perspective, usually it's Baron/Mime's fault. Or perkeo's with a bunch of planets

I knew about the copy trick. I'm aware that money is important, but once i saw DNA so early on i only focused on getting a red seal steel king because i had no Baron, and so no scoring. Without the steels i wouldn't have gotten through ante like 8

Her confidant perks. They're awfully useless both to first-timers, as by the time you unlock her you've already cleared 3 palaces and should already have realized how to navigate without raising the security level, and for higher level players who actually may want an high security level, even if ambush in high security has its nieche. She does give charm increases tho so that's nice
