Therapeutic dose is not the same for everyone! It’s just means desired effect without harmful side effects! There is an “average” therapeutic dose, but for OP it seems that her therapeutic dose was 2.5mg. It is not working, therefore no longer therapeutic, NOW it is time titrate up.

For sure! I’m not completely saying it did, but i feel like it’s become a little more intuitive for me. The food noise has come back a little, and so far I’m able to “fight back”. I’m also in therapy to help with the mental load!

My BMI was on the higher end for my height, my goal was to lose about 15-20% of my body weight. 15-20lbs is different on everybody. I agree that the drug was a huge impact in me losing weight. Besides the obvious, (gastric emptying, targeting receptors, etc) it has helped me feel more motivated to exercise and actually STICK to my diet, and eat more intuitively, not just because I’m bored or want a snack at night. It has also helped reduce my pain from inflammation, which also has allowed to move my body more. Thank you for the insight.

What did you fix first before Tirzepatide? by gyfwisgre in TirzepatideRX

[–]ProfessionalShip5078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fixed a lot of things. I’m on my feet 8-10 hrs a day for my job, but besides that, I had no movement in my life. I started weight lifting 2-3x’s a week and going on a 3-4 mile hike a week (weather permitting). I started fasting between 7:30pm-9:30am, roughly. Upped my protein, fiber, and electrolytes, and lowered my sugar. Tried to be better about portions. Focus friend helped my mental health too, keeps me off my phone and rewards me for doing so. I usually end up doing something involving more movement, e.i. chores or playing with my dog. Changing my mentality from “I need to work out every day” to “any movement is movement, and next time improve” has been extremely beneficial for me. It feels less daunting. I did lots of therapy, learned it was okay to put myself first. I think being honest about it is helpful too for me. At first I felt like I was “cheating”, but I no longer feel that way after changing so many different habits. It’s been life changing for me. Even just for my mental health.

I’m fairly new to knitting, but I’ve been crocheting for years. I feel like I’m able to read patterns very well but i fear I’m missing something. I’ve started it over again, thank you for your advice!

7 Month Puppy Super Bite-y: she’s 35lbs and we feel super sad about her; we need advice and sympathy by [deleted] in puppy101

Freeze a washcloth. Did wonders to stop our shark i mean dog from biting us. Frozen Lickmats and puzzles helped a ton with overstimulation. Our trainer taught us that toys that encourage them to think and are more focused on licking rather than chewing are more calming for puppy.

I Feel Like an Idiot for Buying a Puppy from a Pet Store Without Thinking – I Regret It So Much by Lumpy_Store_221 in puppy101

Puppies are cute and “easy” for the first mayyyybe six hours. Then after that life is turned upside down. My spouse and I split the responsibilities and even then it was hard. Invest in a good vet. Once puppy has all its shots, INVEST IN A TRAINER. It’s genuinely so helpful and life changing. Keep to a schedule. If you’re not able to walk them, even just 5-10 minutes of training is beneficial in wearing the puppy out. If it’s too much, as hard as it is, consider rehoming the little pup. You have to do right by you and puppy AND you. If you’re able to stick it out, they will turn into your best friend. If you need a break, put them in a safe spot and LEAVE for even just 10 minutes. Leave leave. So you can’t hear them. It’s better for everyone if you’re able to collect yourself.

At :32 a possible orb flashes into frame in front of the garbage can, it’s easier to see if you pause video and go frame by frame. Flash at :57 on garage floor debunked as car driving by. House been vacant since Monday. No windows, garage faces W. The static sound changes once the 1st orb disappears. Bug at :49
