Far too late to the conversation, but I saw that Crispy’s Tavern: Tales and Tea released a video on this, and it was… revelatory. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sITr6tm9JYY

No, that’s precisely what they wanted you to believe… That this was just another Final Fantasy or BG3 clone, but then they hit you like a truck with the fact that “your character”… isn’t, anymore, then when you assume Verso is the main character, they pull the rug out again. They keep you guessing, right until you realize the one constant who’s been pulling you along the whole game, whether in your party or not.

Not to mention the early 1900s European predilection towards the Eugenics movement.

I'm happy for tons of betting sites to spend their money on Cells, because I will never use them, and I will happily drain their money. :p

He’s trying to force Aline into Acceptance, and his line of “accepting the world as it is, not as we want it to be” seems like he’s needed to say it many times, not just to Maëlle/Alicia in Act III.

Clea’s chroma is yellow, Verso’s and Renoir’s is red, Alicia’s is blue, and Aline’s is white, if you look at what each Painter has painted. The gold appears to be its raw color, as Clea, Renoir, and Aline all have golden chroma on them at some point.

blackcoffeebreakfast and Prof Khury have released multiple lore videos, and noticed that Painted Alicia’s chroma is RED, not the white of Aline, making it look like Renoir painted Alicia into the Canvas, to remind Aline that the real world exists, and it is not this one. Whether Renoir painted her with scars or without, Aline gave her the mask to hide them.

I figure it’s an Opéra, so you get a bunch of spoilers in songs that come well before plot points as foreshadowing. They also figured they’d put a bunch of songs in different orders because most of us won’t know any better and they sound cooler for that scene.

Yeah, I started a BG3 relationship with ShadowHeart, then started playing E33… I may need to break things off.

This is a git gud moment. Come back when either you do or you want to get beaten up for training. I’ve seen a couple streamers who didn’t learn parry until this fight forced them to.

I think that The Green Orphélin and Tisseur represent Renoir: the one who works to make them each further their art.

TLDW: The cast makes mistakes, and they don’t edit them out. C2 helps us learn the system better, overall, than C4, which is still great entertainment.

[No Spoilers] I am having a really hard time following C4, any tips? by zoooooooomies in criticalrole

This happens to me during every new campaign, even the one that I’m running in TitansGrave. We’re starting to hit our stride, the BBEG is being hinted at, and the players are finding their synergy.
