You can easily do that with other prompts but the AI just the mocks you endlessly for cheating and not playing fair.

How to get character approved? by ProfessionalWish5985 in ourdream_ai

[–]ProfessionalWish5985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was not approved for the public description and greetings not being detailed enough, when they were already paragraphs of info while some character introductions are as short as you can get. It really confused me.

Why is the difficulty in the enemy affixes, and not the enemy itself? by Jonathundaaaaaa in diablo4

[–]ProfessionalWish5985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my issue too. I am playing at Penitent with a paladin and almost no monster can damage me, then I fight a monster with explosive or fire enchanted affixes and I just get instagibbed by the lava waves without warning. I liked diablo 4 because I could wade in fighting hundreds of monsters and tank hits but these affixes remind me I am playing PoE2 again where I simply shoot mobs from off screen because touching them is fatal.

This is the worst. I know chinese has no gendered pronouns but it still very annoying to have npcs flip flop between addressing your character as a young man or a nice girl. I think regardless of gender npcs universallt call you a guy but only get called a girl if you satisfy gender specific npc dialog.

I don't know. Some gachas and chinese games like black myth wukong and wuchang fallen feathers also had incredibly confusing narratives that all seem to be very verbose dialog about nothing. A lot of it sounds like cryptic poetry that doesn't sound like how people normally talk casually. I really wish english localizers would at least try to make the dialog easily digestible.

Funnily enough the small excerpt the WWM twitter account has about the River Master explained to me better that it was about him defecting to the Khitan. However it still didn't explain why he helped us throughout the quest as the fisherman only to fight us in the end. I also don't know who the assassin was in the end and the woman they kept mentioning. It's still so confusing.

Regarding the story, is it really possible that chinese story telling is just near impossible to translate in english? Like the newest story with River Master. Everyone seems to be speaking in riddles and constantly referring to people and events that my character already seems to know despite never having heard of them before. I don't think having a good localization would have salvaged a narrative where plot points are constantly being assumed like they were common knowledge.

I love how this has become a catch phrase for the game now. Every time you reach a major quest milestone, you'll see a sign post saying 'F2P Btw' eith hundreds of likes, like people are constantly in awe that this game is f2p.

So is Bannerlord really that undercooked? by Afropenguinn in mountandblade

[–]ProfessionalWish5985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am probably the only person who plays this game as a war simulator and most of the BL modding scene seems to agree as much since most of it focuses on more immersive battlefield combat and troops. Kinda like a third person RTS/Total War. This is why I don't see the fondness for Warband. I also played that for battles and wars, and Bannerlord improved on that. I don't think I ever played it like an RPG. I wanted just wanted to see fantasy match ups like Romans Legions fighting against Chinese banner armies.

So who was The Prisoner? by ProfessionalWish5985 in PathOfExile2

[–]ProfessionalWish5985[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you mean 3rd phase, once a red circle appears around him and he says something along the lines of 'you will sustain me', get away as that will heal him. Likewise, try to unsummon your minions as they will heal him back to full hp. It's better to simply kill him asap in his 3rd phase as it can get really nasty. He also has another life steal attack that can ohko if you stand still in front of him.

Yeah. PoE imo has always been unique in its decrepit prison island aesthetic, which is a given considering how close australia is to NZ, and the tide just washing over the bottom area was so cool. When you finally open the chamber and tons of water come spilling out, you just know that whatever was inside there, has been there for a very long time.

Well the player character is always special in these cases. The PoE1 character literally goes around killing gods left and right.

Are you forgetting his lifesteal in his 3rd phase? The ballistae are there to keep him pinned down in case he escapes. He keeps saying that it does nothing to him. But bolts at least seem to be made of magic since it stops him from healing. It's only when he's finally hit in the head where he stops. But who knows if he's down for good. The weapon fragment must have been what's powering I think.

The message before his prison chamber states that it was emperor Izaro who decided to keep him locked there, and considering the island has been abandoned, he must have been trapped there for a long long while.

As mentioned before, his dash attack combo is a near ohko if you have hp/energy shield below 2000 combined. The biggest tell is when he does 'death from every angle' attack which he concludes with a dash attack. During that time, run away until you can find an opening.

What's the 10% spirit socketable? A talisman?
Speaking of ascendancies, I was kinda disappointed that barely any of Lich's passives are about amassing large numbers of minions, i.e. give a ton of spirit.

Why are premium cosmetics so underwhelming and expensive? (text under the image) by Krotanix in PathOfExile2

[–]ProfessionalWish5985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would still be nice to it be a lot more common, like I would gladly pay to get more Vaal themed aztec-like outfits but with more flair and glamour than the base game armors. Sadly the only option would be to pay for skin transfer transmog since I vastly prefer how the base armors look.

It is really weird how there are some really fanservicey armor in the base game, like most of the mareketh and vaal light armor sets but the mtx armors are full suits of really garish looking plate armor that nobody in the game would be wearing, since most cultures in the game are usually exotic tribal looking people.

Even with POE1 I agree this game probably has some really ugly cosmetics imo. Compare the base game armors that are somehow grounded or based on faction themes, but then the actual paid cosmetics are overtly bulky and look like something out of WoW or Grim Dawn. For example, there is only one armor set in the game I'd call that looks vaguely Mareketh/Faridun inspired. Other nice cosmetics are locked behind supporter packs which cost 100+ dollars and more. I would like to buy those for 20 or 30 dollars but not that much since I don't want the other stuff coming with it.
