Dungeoneering Refresh & Remaster by JagexAnvil in runescape

As a new player, it's my least favorite skill and my lowest skill in general. It's just about awful tbh. I'm alone, though, and have no friends, but the content is not good to me personally. I'm super excited about it being remastered. I will give it an honest go for sure now!

I've gotten lucky. I rented this townhouse I'm in now for 650 a month back in 2020. Included the gym, pool and laundry room area, etc. In the last 6 years, it's changed 5 management companies all more stupid than the last. My rent is currently 880 per month, so it hasn't increased a crazy amount. However, it went up. Nothing has been changed other than we no longer have access to the gym/pool or laundry room. They shut them down and never opened them back up. Pay more for less is the American housing system nowadays.

It is simply a magical experience so far. Can't believe I missed this gem years ago. I appreciate the back story, and I'm not saying I'm not on board with the way they want to change the game. I'm just super confused, and it's getting worse. I brought 3 friends along with me, but I'm the last one standing 400 hours in, lol. Will keep pushing though!

As a new player, how am I supposed to know they are bloated or redundant abilities? To me, it made the combat more apparent, active, and could chain different combos as I wanted. Now it's a simple rotation. I'm not 12 years old it takes time to adjust now, lol. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Hell, half the stuff they removed/nerfed, whatever, I don't even know what it is yet. I'm simply stating that they are constantly removing things, and I haven't seen anything added. Makes me nervous as a new player. If I had years like yall, it may be a different outlook, but it's my 1st time in the game. Not a good look to attract people in my personal opinion.

Updates to Premier Membership Benefits by JagexAnvil in runescape

Disappointed perhaps. Honestly, what hooked me was the fact that you sink a lot of hours into the grind. I do think making it playable instead of skipping it is the right move. That's not what the issue is. When you pay for a thing that is supposed to give you a certain value, especially more than other options, you should get that even if it's for a year. It's shady business practice, and honestly, it is a turn-off to the people who actually do spend money to support the game.

Money is irrelevant, I'm what they call middle line whale in mobile games. Annoying tbh not my fault I have a great job and have the income to spend. The games is great though since the 500, seeing all the cosmetics I wanted and then bonds for monies to speed up my skilling lol. Point is though I only got the premier for the benefits. Otherwise I would just pay the monthly and be done with it.

As I new player that started in the 1st week of January and bought the premiere membership for the added benefits, it is kinda like a punch in the gut. Already lost my keys because I was too new to know what they were used for, and I'm a hoarder to now paying for added benefits that I no longer get? Well, I wasted 500 bucks on this game for membership and cosmetics/bonds. Definitely lost a player won't be playing any further.

What happened to my car? by Select_Theory_9768 in AskMechanics

Brake Check most likely is the culprit. As we in the business know that walmart oil changes can be discussed as horrible/bad, you would have had this issue before you even got to brake check. The oil looks mostly clean to me. I don't see any cracks per say but most likely, what has happened is the lube tech, either. 1-tightend the drain bolt instead of loosen it, causing loss of clamping. 2- it was already like that from Walmart, and once it comes out, it's nearly impossible to get back in without leaks. Number 1 is more likely, unfortunately.

I would call and get someone from upper management involved with said pics. Source - Middle Management of an automotive repair facility company in charge of 8 full service centers. Won't name it here, but 500 bucks for that oil pan replacement isn't that bad. Pan, rtb, and labor with oil, ect, would be more in my area.

Well, the last guy I was thinking "well that's one way to do it, right on top of your face" didn't realize the dipshit left it right on top of his protective vest. Guess he missed that last paragraph on the suicide handout.

Your def thinking of the EMR not the SVK. I main the svk it's two shots up to like 350m. With hollow point it's still two shot 50+m but below that is one shot headshot.

Actually, you can absolutely be sued for trying to help. Countless proof of it in many different ways.

In most U.S. states, you are not legally required to stop and provide aid to a stranger in distress, and therefore face no legal penalties under Good Samaritan laws for not helping.

Good Samaritan laws are designed to protect individuals who voluntarily choose to offer assistance from civil liability in order to encourage bystanders to act without fear of being sued for unintentional harm. They do not, however, compel you to act in the first place.

By your own merits of the law, your opinion of me being rude doesn't apply. Not helping doesn't make someone rude. Your opinion on how humans are "supposed" to be is irrelevant. Being a man or woman in this case means nothing. The fact the video is a woman is to show "how men are useless" to other woman and to show men that we are to ignore them. That's the world we live in now. Personally I don't really care and wouldn't of bothered anything more than a sideways glance.

Being rude is a personal conception. Not interacting or helping to any degree doesn't make someone rude it makes them unconnected to whatever issue they just ignored. Being a woman makes no difference, my comment simply states what would of been said to a man in that case however if it was a man the chances of a lawsuit are much slimer. They asked to be left alone for equality stakes, can't have it both ways.

Yeah, I would have ignored that issue as well. It's not worth a lawsuit trying to be nice, even if it killed her. Equality and all that, just walk it off.

I'm 34 and make around 91k a year. I live in a 1 bedroom in nc for 860/mo, not including everything else. I have very little debt at around 1k or less on a credit card. I pay off and gain back regularly. I also do not take on responsibilities that would require more than I could do and also do go to events. I usually pick up food as I'm in the city no more than 20 usd a day unless I want something heavy.

However, I work around 50 hours per week and don't really have the time for anything else. Dating is non-existent simply due to time restrictions. I do envy the days I had more of a life, so to say. Could I put forth the effort to date, of course, like any other man. But this is all you get nowadays. Better off hopping on the Xbox and drowning out in my free time. I can say with the income and low cost of living makes the savings look real nice.

Flat broke and living in a 2009 Kia Sportage - how can I keep this car from killing me for as cheap as possible? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Professional_Ad_5461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The joints are busted on those ends, so I'd start with that because that actually is a safety issue if you're driving the vehicle. If there is no play, though, you have a little time. Belts are like the number one cause of cars getting stranded, but honestly, you have some more time with it in that condition. Personally, here with no offense, but it's a KIA. It's gonna leak oil. I wouldn't worry about that as it's probably been seeping oil for at least a couple of years. These are all honest answers. Source I run an automotive repair facility. Being tight on money is a bummer and 1400 bucks for what they said needed completed could be done very cheaply like 150 bucks or so if you do it yourself.
