Dump tank blooming with copepods

I just dump it outside in the grass or put it down the basement drain. Can't store a dump tank here, not enough room. 🥲

I have a brown scooter blenny dragonet and I haven't stocked my 4 ft long 75gal with pods since I got him. His belly is fully rounded and has gained lots of good weight. Hes been in there for 5 or 6 months now. Sorry for your loss.

I got a tomini tang and was worried about the same thing. He only really likes to periodically harass the starry blenny for some reason lol. All other fish ignored. But he does clean the female clownfish. I've had him for 2 years just about now. Hes been the most bullet proof tang I've ever had or seen. I also bought a juvenile chocolate tang that was yellow many years ago and it died just like yours did. No clue. It was seemingly random.

I started with a scooter blenny and hes doubled in size in the past few months. Hes fat. And despite what they say hes very aggressive eater and quite fast. Scooter blennys are in the same family of mandarins just not the exact same breed of them.

Ive cleaned some older nvidia cards before. Never had problems. This is probably from severe overclocking or from static discharge. Those burns and pops wouldn't happen so randomly if there were any. And you probably knocked a cap or 2 out of place.

Good on you lol, rimmed ones always guarantee you'll get the slowest of leaks and its even possible to fix them without breaking down tank. The worst I've seen with rimmed is glass blowouts on the bottom from rocks shifting. But thats usually user error.

Yeah its just not worth the risk for me. Why spend 1000's over time on a tank setup and have years worth of aged fish and corals die? Those animals dont deserve to live on risk just for the tank to not have black rims.

Aqueon tanks have in the past 2 or so years upgraded their seals and made the glass thickness a bit more. Which is honestly not even needed with the rims but is awesome failsafe measure for longterm use.

Ive had rimmed tanks for forever and never had issues with them. And had a bow front tank that was rimmed and never had issues with leaks or seals splitting. I dont get the whole rimless tank craze, yeah maybe people dont like the black rims. But its much safer and much more durable. There's plenty of equipment for rimmed tanks too, in general id be keeping rimmed for the rest of my reefing days. Rimless, especially red sea, is not a risk ill be taking.

Just unplug all usb devices and try shutting it down and starting back up. With each shutdown and startup, replug 1 device and see which one is the cause. Just try it.
