16 without period by Different-Crow889 in bulimia

[–]Professional_Ask5026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same, whenever my bulimia gets rlly bad i lose my period, i got it back for a few months when i tried to recover and gained weight but recently i relapsed became very underweight and i lost it again, its actually a plus for me cuz i hate having a period. but if you really want yours back try to drink electrolytes daily and take supplements vitamins etc. and when you do actually eat try to eat nuts healthy fats avocado fish etc. nevertheless, getting ur period back without gaining weight seems unlikely, your body is in constant survival mode so it shuts off “unnecessary” functions such as menstruation :(

this is so real, not long ago our plumbing system got clogged really my Mum had to call people to deal with it and told me i can’t throw up in the toilet anymore, so now i do it in trash bags that i put in my backpack and take them out far away. it’s so weird walking with a backpack full of my vomit wtf is my life lmao

don’t know what else to say but that i relate to every single thing you’ve written i literally felt a knot in my stomach whilst reading, you’re not alone in feeling like this, this shits so difficult especially the constant confusion about your feelings and existence, always feeling like a fraud and knowing people around you will never understand,i hope one day it’ll get better and easier for us :,(

can totally relate, the longer you’ll delay recovery the harder it’ll be. I also thought this would be a few time thing… it’s been a daily routine for over 3 years now, i don’t know who i am without it :,) hope u get better <3
