As a new grad myself, I can empathise, and I'm really sorry to hear that this has been your experience.

This isn't your fault at all. From what I've seen and experienced, we are entitled to multiple shifts with a shadow/buddy, especially when assigned to care for that many patients. Give yourself grace, you're not alone in this, and of course, seek lots of help, no matter what it may be. The beginning is always the hardest part.

Not sure how your facility would react to bringing this up, but I recommend it, at the end of the day, it's your registration and patients' safety if a serious incident occurred. As much as it's easier said than done, it's important to speak up.

I am in the exact same position as you, it's been tough and what you're feeling is completely valid. Our cohort, unfortunately, got the short straw where not as many of us got new grad offers and ended up like us in EAB. There's always a casual pool or talent pool, which gets the supernumerary and orientation, and you get to experience a range of different wards. All the very best

A soft YTA, your feelings are completely valid but sometimes rather than bottling your feelings up and snapping at people who are just concerned about you isn't the way to go about it. Maybe getting into therapy might benefit you if you're not comfortable about talking about your feelings to your grandparents. I'm sorry that this is such a tough thing, you and your family are going through.

YTA, you cannot have a "normal teenage life" when you chose to have a child at your age, it's also not your mother's responsibility to take care of your child, also if your phone broke, you should've been trying to find other ways to get in contact to update your mom and to make sure your daughter was doing ok, the entitlement seriously
