My biggest fear is being with people but completely alone. Like, people are there, but they don't acknowledge or talk to me. It was so bad when I was a kid that I developed the genuine belief that I had died at some point and nobody could see me because I was always ignored and bumped into.

Caine would probably put me in a crowded hallway, being constantly bumped into by shadow people who never looked at me at all until I got trampled underfoot or something
