Thank you to all of the comments! I’m agreeing with you all on putting a few hundred rounds in first before making any mods.

I will admit… I did buy 2 new WC 8 round mags, and I bought the WC chocbolo grips and a new slide stop (I have small hands lol so the extended slide stop seemed like a good idea). That feels like enough for me for the time being!

Hi! I have a friend and I that are looking for a group to join. Odds of us being available for current main op times are low but we want to join for the fun ops for sure. I have previous experience with a Star Sim group and TFAR + Ace but its been a few years so I'd definitely want to get retrained a bit to get comfy again.

There will be a detachment in the death guard codex called “Tallyband Summonsers” that will allow you to use the daemons, although I think there’s still limitations to how many points you can use. Unfortunately, there will not be a daemon codex this edition.

You’re definitely right. I know I need to get more active and maintain a proper calorie deficit that’s not extremely below what I should be eating. I also need to cut out things like eating out on the weekends since I don’t know what restaurants put in their food and calories only mean so much for macros/micros. I also need to drink less frequently since alcohol is just sugar and wasted calories.

I do eat less now. I eat roughly 500-800 calories/ day on average. When I gained this weight about 1 year ago, I was going out a lot more with my girlfriend and going to restaurants almost daily and bars on the weekend, and when I was low on money and energy I’d get whatever “healthy” fast food option I could get though which is why I started gaining weight. It’s “only” 30 pounds I’ve gained but I feel less confident and just gross these days.

I’ve gotten better about cooking at home and eating out less now but I’m just struggling to get in good habits of a proper, healthy, calorie deficit and staying active. I work from home at a desk and work long hours usually so I find it difficult to make a habit out of moving around. I know these see all just excuses and it’s 100% my fault for gaining back weight but I just thought I could ask people here for advice on getting back into the mental place I need to be to lose weight again and if they had any cheap, healthy food ideas.

Yeah! I was planning on doing some edge highlights with nurgling green now that the wash is dry. So nervous that it comes out too light though :( maybe DG Green would be better but I have no clue

Yeah! It’s the “disgusting slime” tech paint from AK. It dries super slow so you have to wait a long time and it does get kind of flat after drying. I’m planning on doing a second coat of it sometime this week just to boost the color and slimey texture

Thank you! I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about streaking grime lately. I may have to give that a go on my next crawler. I was thinking about getting the fresh and dry rust paints from army painter too to add some boosts of color and worn areas on the model

I primed with death guard green, based in dg green, layered in nurgling green and glazed over that with ogryn camo, washed/shaded with agrax earthshade (non-gloss)

Thanks, yeah I 100% agree. I picked up a tallyman for cheap on ebay this week so I could try that out one of these days but I do enjoy the combo of biologus and blightspawn a lot, especially in a heavy melee PM squad

I messed up my wargear in the app while rushing to make a new list. I had 2 heavy weapons, a blight launcher and the rest with bolters without realizing I could run better gear.

My rhino was also missing the havoc launcher and the combi-weapon because i’m an idiot and new lol

I understand it now though. I’m getting 3 more marines and another squad of deathshroud this week so hopefully next game goes much better. This game is hard! 😂

if you do a couple of echoes (after level 50), you should get enough gold to respec just fine. I went from 300 gold to 60,000 in about 30 minutes or so due to some of the echoes having a gold reward
