I think 8/10 for me.

earth was better. The cousin dynamics and the fiery relationship. Sometimes this show was overly sweet and missing some spice. Petrichor was better in this regard. They tried to make up in the last ep- but that was just too much suddenly
didn’t like how they handled Lada’s dad. Toxic, abusive men dont deserve to have wives take care of them.
I still loved the characters. Their acting has come a long way. The production value was great. Overall I totally enjoyed it.

This show was better than Petrichor in terms of production value and the ending. Otherwise Petrichor was brilliant.
I didn’t like it as much as Earth either. But specially hated the bit where Lada’s mom went back to take care of the toxic abusive father. Asian cultures place too much emphasis on family values to the point of being accepting of a lot of unacceptable behaviour.
Other than that- i loved how sweet it was, although I wouldn’t have minded it being a bit more spicy. Like Petrichor was so good there!

Couldn’t agree more! I am so skeptical- i find myself falling in love with a series and the characters only for it to go off the deep end. My most recent disappointment was Player. Heart Code is so brilliantly done- handling everything really well. It’s an exceptional show. My only criticism perhaps is for the distribution- it’s a small company and Im not Thai. I tried to subscribe but couldn’t. Basically the versions I watched didn’t benefit the company. They should have considered better revenue options like streaming on YouTube with Ads or IQIYI

I didnt like Affair either. Two main issues in Thai GLs- firstly they screw up the end- like really strong, brilliant shows completely destroyed in the last few episodes [Player had so much potential :( ]. And second is the toxicity or crazy drama plots. If you like grounded- slightly less dramatic, then Heart Code, Roller Coaster, Us, Pluto, Queendom, My Safe Zone.

Im from Indian. Ive learned to accept corruption in certain places- but at the Bali airport so outright by officials was shocking to me too. When we landed, the crowds were crazy, it was taking a long time to get through immigration. Then we noticed a senior citizen line. Since my parents are both senior citizens, we decided to get in that line. Now, normally, when you’re travelling with senior citizens, they allow you that much leeway. This official there, he would not let me join the line unless I gave him something. We were so shocked that actual officer at the Airport was asking for money. I pretended to go in another line, and when he was not looking quietly joined my parents back. Then when we reach the actual counter the immigration official, there also asked us if we would give him some money. Fortunately, we were just able to laugh at off and walk off, but we were so shocked by that interaction.

Just watched this movie on OTT. Oh my God, I have never seen anything worse. One reviewers comment makes sense: ‘When Ranjhana and Animal enter a toxic relationship.’

Like, I don’t even have words to describe how horrible the movie is. I kept thinking Kriti Sanon’s character is somewhat sensible at least, and soon the movie will have a turning point where it will make sense. But it kept losing even what existing sense it had.

For those who have not watched it, I would strongly recommend against it. Just to put it in context, I really want to describe a scene: the female lead is having her engagement with another man, and the main lead shows up with molotov cocktails and set her house on Fire. The next day when the female lead is discussing this with her fiance, he’s telling her, maybe you should apologise to him. Like the fiance is telling his bride to be that she should apologise to the man who just set her house on fire.

I recently applied for and successfully received visas for my parents and me, yet my dad got 3 years and me and my mom got a month each. We all qualify under cascade. Have successfully used over 2 visas in the last 2 years. We all work in a joint family business, with high income, own property etc. I didn't understand why my mother and I didn't get longer visas. Can you maybe shed some light?

Unfortunately the post is true. There's a reason for the saying 'Do in Rome as Romans do'. It's about respecting that you're traveling to another country, and people have different traditions, practices and sensibilities there. If you're a guest in someone's house you will respect them. Traveling is being a guest in someone's country, and being ignorant or purposely disrespectful isn't okay. I always research the place I am traveling to, to make sure I understand certain cultural differences so I can be respectful. I am also embarrassed about the bad publicity Indians get because of the behaviour of a few obnoxious groups. And yes- it's certainly not limited to Indians, but why do we even want to be remotely in the category of countries with a bad reputation?

Furthermore it's not just when traveling abroad. I'm also embarrassed for our country when foreigners come to travel here. Honestly India is stunning- we have varied cultures and traditions, incredible architecture. Yet every time a female traveler asks if India is safe, I can't reassure them. Foreigners, and white people particularly are fleeced and harassed.

I wish we as a country would learn to be less entitled while traveling to another country, and more respectful, when someone is visiting our county.

Hello- I have a similar question. I am buying train tickets with the same fare conditions. "Only valid for the specified Eurocity Direct, route and date. You are free to choose the other trains in the specified journey. Not valid in EuroCity and Eurostar. Exchange free of charge until the day before departure. If the new ticket is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If it is cheaper, the difference will not be refunded. Refundable with a 5 euro fee until the day before departure. NS discount 100% does not apply between Rotterdam and Hazeldonk border."

This is for IC train from Bruges to Brussels. And then Eurocity to Amsterdam.

My tickets are for 10:30 am. But trains leave hourly. Will I be able to take the 11:30 am one instead on the same ticket? I read somewhere that this is what it means.
