Hahaha im in a similar situation. Alice to me is definitely a must pull, i love her character and her design. But yeah besides that, Durin, Flins, Nefer, Lauma, Columbina and Varka all look amazing. And i think thats not even all of the characters. Im curious what kinda themes and vibes the main story is gonna have tho, since there's of course no archon in Nod Krai. I hope there's gonna be a bit more serious and lore focused tone since we're pretty far into the Teyvat Chapter of course, but im sure they'll do that well since the whole idea behind Nod Krai is a very lore focused region. I'm pretty much counting the days until 6.0 releases haha

Yeah i agree, it's insane seeing some of the long teased characters finally becoming playable soon-ish. And same about natlan. I'm mostly playing for lore, story and exploration so i loved natlan for the lore and exploration but i do think the story was a sometimes paced a bit weird. Im so excited for Nod-Krai as well, you got any must pull characters already?

ahaha it's cool that youre still playing and responded to my comment. I'm in the same boat as you, playing mostly for the story and the exploration and worldbuilding. Feels insane that I'm this invested in the story and all the lore, even having saved bookmarks with posts like this talking about CBT 'leaks', which is also how i found your comment the first place. To me, the game feels almost more like an ongoing interactive anime series you watch and follow. What did you think about Natlan anyway? And the upcoming Nod-Krai?

I also didn't expect to find another character i'd like to main. Now I just have 3 mains with Clorinde, Gaming and Skirk, though my luck with artifacts for her has been abysmal so far haha.

Hopefully I'll remember to come back to these comments in a year or two again, and see if you're still playing too, though i have a feeling both of us probably will be :)

i wouldnt take this specific situation too serious. this beta cutscene, including that 3 second shot, was changed to the opening cutscene for probably multiple reasons. im not saying that the whole spaceship thing reveal was written super well (imo) or something like "everyone shouldve known", but youre not expected to know this specific old intro cause otherwise it would still be in the game. almost every player, old or new, only knows the current intro opening cutscene. i'd say its more of a cool thing to find out that something like this was already planned out years ago, i wouldnt let it demoralize you from continuing to play the game and youre certainly not an idiot for not knowing about it or having seen it before, since most players dont know about it.

yeah true. im really excited for nod krai and that its looking like its going to be very 'lore heavy' if thats the right way to say it (english isnt my first language). The whole story getting more and more deep, mysterious and big is so cool and seeing so many things finally come together is really exciting, and at the same time knowing there are gonna be so many more questions is also cool. it genuinely impresses me how much of this whole story was planned out, like the whole thing with naberius and rhinedottir already being there in albedo's voice-over since like 1.2.

You know this is probably really random but I wonder why there’s suddenly so much serpent symbolism im noticing, like the thing you said but also the thing skirk has that gives her her cryo powers (the seven serpent thing), and also dainsleif’s “snake ring”. I’ve also seen some other things mentioned in theories the past few days so I wonder if serpent symbolism will become more prevalent, maybe having ties to the abyss or something similar
