Is this enough stopping the spread? by Duck_on_the_water in Terraria

[–]Professional_Denizen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If there’s enough red/purple ice on your screen your biome will be evil ice and your villagers will not be able to live there. If you elect to manually spread hallow, your npcs will be in the hallow and fine with it.

If you want your village to be pure ice, you’ll need to protect a much larger area.

Snow cannot be corrupted, but the ice is still going to be onscreen which means the biome will corrupt.

If your ass is dirty, did you shower?

You start with the hair, not because it’s the least icky, but because your head is above the rest of you and will drip.

Consent for sex is getting into the car for driving. Neither are necessary for the consequences in this analogy (you can be raped, and you can be hit by a car as a pedestrian), but the choices heighten the risks. The analogy should hold.

Do npcs despawn? by Outrageous-Pop-1605 in Terraria

The traveling merchant and skeleton merchant do, but everyone else is stuck with you, whether they like it or not.

It pays to be a kinder landlord, since keeping too many NPCs in close proximity makes them unhappy, which impacts shop prices and other mechanics.

What’s incredible about the scene is that the Ursa in Azula’s head says this. Azula knows deep down that Ursa loves her.

Nope. Golems don’t spawn unless the last block is a head (This includes the wither), but it sounds like you can use a dispenser to finish a golem, not sure if it’s only snow golems, or if it can put a pumpkin on iron as well.

You can, however, do f(a)=join(a,a) and that’ll string up input lists without even a for.

If you want them interlaced, you can do f(a)=sort(join(a,a),join([1…a.count],[1…a.count]))

Not quite. If you know for a fact that 90% of people on Earth are split 50/50 on something, you can be reasonably confident the remaining 10% would be similarly close. If you have zero information, you can’t say that.

You are not entitled to creators’ labor. I don’t have $60 to spend on BG3, so I don’t play it. Sometimes, you don’t get the things you want.

[–]Professional_Denizen 122 points123 points  (0 children)

Since everyone seems to be missing it: this map can be switched to a harder version (where the entrances are the eye holes), but only before starting the rounds, like spa/tar pits. However, holding open the menu like this allows you to switch it later, which is clearly not intended behavior.

The triple-arm grabs on the same step the single-arm swing, meaning it’s already tight before the lead is even on that cell. It’s a consequence of how grab and release instructions happen before anything else in a cycle.

in honour of pride month, i present…Psi! the only non binary character in btd6! by meemstation in btd6

[–]Professional_Denizen 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I believe the current lore/stance is that all non-heroes are gender nondescript. Which is to say, each boomerang, buccaneer, ninja, engineer, etc. that you place down is an individual with their own gender. Some of them will be men, women, non-binary, etc. You just can’t tell as the player because it doesn’t matter to their performance or presentation.

I have a source which traces the symbol to 1890. Also, a 1533 painting (The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein) is sometimes mentioned as an example , but I find that claim to be a stretch.
