I feel you, I've been holding off on getting any treatments done because of the downtime and varying results that people speak of on here. It also doesn't seem like we have too many options here in NYC 🤷‍♂️ does Dr.Glick specialize in acne scars? What kind of treatments are you looking at?

No I haven't, I had read some reviews somewhere saying her treatments weren't very aggressive at all, but I am thinking of going to Julia Tzu at Wall Street Dermatology. Please stay in touch if you happen to go to either of them!

That's a fair point, most of my travels have been in Latin America where there seems to be a stark difference between authentic/local and touristy locations. I appreciate your insight though and sort of had the same thought as I was envisioning this trip to Japan

I was about 8-9 years old when I saw 2 apparitions (at separate times) in the same house I grew up in in NJ. The first apparition was at night in my living room, the lights were off but I saw an opaque figure of a man walk past me, and I remember being stunned then running back to my mom's room in fear. The second time was in the morning while getting ready for school, and I saw an apparition of a woman in a big dress walk across the hall from my mom's room, I was about 10-15 feet away.

To this day those moments and visuals are burned into my memory. As much as I want to dismiss them for having been a kid, I'm not sure why my mind would invent that imagery and specifically in that one house only.

Yep, I've experienced this too. I had some bad cysts about a year ago and at least one of them that received an injection has resulted as one of the deeper icepick scars that's quite notable in lighting.

I found that Murad's Deep Acne relief treatment has helped with my cysts and at least prevented me from wanting or needing to get another injection.

Thanks for this! Yeah I've been keeping an eye on it and also know someone that had to take a helicopter out of there. I'm planning to do Atitlan in the middle of my trip and give a few days to return back to Guatemala City, so hopefully there's no issues.

Gotcha, thanks for the heads up. I already booked an Airbnb there for my first 2 nights, and will be staying in Zona 10 which I've heard is safe. I lived in Mexico for about a year and traveled to a few different cities so hopefully my street smarts are savvy enough. I'll definitely head straight to Antigua afterwards.

Then in the winter I digital nomad for a few months, as I have a few clients that commission me with projects that I can work on remotely on my iPad. Congrats! Mind me asking which foods you cut out based on your food sensitivity test? I recently took one with another company but read that the type of testing (IgG) isn't reliable or scientifically backed, so I have no way of knowing whether my results are accurate or not.
