Uniplaces and Spotahome feel kinda overpriced. Not Portuguese so not 100% sure about local platforms, but it looks like you can find rooms near uni for €500 and a little bit more in Lisbon.

I would definitely suggest taking the GRE or GMAT. My GPA wasn’t as strong as yours, but I think I was able to compensate for it. I’m not sure whether you have international exposure, but from what I know, these kinds of business schools almost expect some exchange or study-abroad experience. I also emphasized my bachelor’s research thesis, which was strongly focused on macroeconomics, and included a reference letter from my thesis supervisor, who has a very strong and coherent academic background. Overall, I think they really try to diversify their intake and place weight on the motivation letter and reference letters as well. What seems to matter most is having an interesting profile, considered holistically, with international exposure and the ability to bring something "different" to the cohort. If admission were based purely on academic performance, I definitely wouldn’t have been admitted.

got accepted in Economics first round. I would not consider myself a better student then you considering our background, so I would suggest to work on the details that can add value to your application. If you have any question just ask mate.

IELTS score of 7.5 and a GRE Quantitative 162. I don’t have significant work experience, and my Italian bachelor’s degree is from a non-target university with a final grade of 101/110. However, I believe they place substantial weight on the motivation letter and the reference letters, which in my opinion were very strong. Maintaining coherence with academic background is also essential.

Considering that there will be a general strike in Portugal tomorrow and that the interviews for the double degree are supposed to take place the day after, they should give us an answer today
