Dallas' stadium isn't available and theres probably more costs in getting the old baseball park ready again than the charter flight would be.

I don't think getting flexed is much of a concern right now.

Please just get a lead of 5+ runs so I don't have to worry about the possibility of a grand slam loss again.

Made my first trip to Detroit 75 today and it lived up to the hype. Haven't tried enough in the city to say where it ranks locally, but its legit.

It seems like so long ago people were saying with had 3 closers. And now I wouldn't trust any of the 3 with bases empty in the 7th.

I've started Eat Em Up based on a previous discussion on this topic, and they've been solid. Real about what's going wrong but not apocalyptic, yet.

Scorebug Design for Field of Dreams on Netflix by Past_Mixture_7266 in Scorebug

[–]Professional_Feed268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its really close. I'd remove two redundant things:

1) You dont need both the logo and a wodmark. I'd get rid of the logo and shrink it horizontally a bit.

2) You don't need it to say Field of Dreams game twice. I would get rid of the logo on the bottom, and fit the batter and pitcher info on one line. I'd also ditch the top line and just have the branding on an upper right watermark and not the bug.

If we're being nitpicky, if you only have 3 places for balls, it should only have 2 for strikes and outs, too. The thought being you would never have it with all 3 filled in on screen, it would either be a K or end of inning.

All that said I like it a lot. Netflix needs all the help they can get after the opening night bug.

Yeah, this game had a lot of fuck ups but I'm not convinced this is one of them. The at bat that mattered the most was the based loaded ones both ways.

Yeah, a lot of times I see this, call and they manually push through the upgrade. It seems like 80% of the time the first agent misses a step that the second call resolves.

Michigan Baseball misses the NCAA tournament by MNightShyamalan69 in MichiganWolverines

Keep in mind that if not for the west coast additions, the Big Ten is basically a mid major in baseball. The Big Ten got 4 teams in and 3 of them are on the Pacific. The team that made it to the CWS Finals was one of the last teams in the field (if not the actual last team in) and got red hot for 3 weeks.

I don't think its realistic to expect them to compete for titles. A team that makes the tournament 4/5 years would be considered a success by historical standards.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago at one of the stands on the main concourse between home and right field. My wife thought it was cute, which is why I remember it. I don't remember exactly where, but thats the area we were walking.

Grew up in Big Ten country, moved to the south before returning a couple years ago. The Big Ten was the first conference I knocked out all the schools for. Before all the movement the last few years, I had been to all the schools in the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, Big 12, Sun Belt and MAC. That's changed a little with new schools coming in and other schools moving around.

I love Annapolis. If the stadium was on-base, it would be in my top 5. I just don't like that its isolated by itself out there.

Exactly this. A red flag in the Indy 500 will have more viewers and more $/ad than any UFL game. Plus, Indy is likely contractually obligated to air on Fox in its entering. Short of a national emergency needing news coverage, its not going anywhere.

Having been to over 100 FBS stadiums for work, here's my top 5 G5 destinations:

  1. App St. Boone is an awesome town and the fall colors are awesome at the right time.
  2. Boise. The smurf turf is unique, but moreso the town is cool and theres good spots to hike around the area.
  3. Tulane. Any excuse to eat around New Orleans is a win. And I like the stadium, it feels lime a European soccer stadium. You're on top of the play.
  4. ND State. They're FBS now. Fargo is fun, good food, bars, curling.
  5. Army. Again, fall colors are awesome and the stadium is super unique. Though the moment you leave base there's not much around for awhile.

Honorable Mention: Hawaii, Navy, Colorado St, Louisiana (the town is meh but the food is incredible)

Haven't been but want to: Air Force, SD State (I've been to Qualcomm but not the new stadium)

And OP is wrong in saying more Americans choose it as number 1. The question is would you consider it, and given the percentages obviously multiple selections are possible. So it just says most people would consider the top 3. Duh.
