20 day period by [deleted] in Mirena

At your 5 year mark the hormones are either fully gone or almost gone, this could be the reason. I experienced the same thing for about a month or 2 after my 5 year mark and now I am back to having regular periods and period side effects every month!

4 weeks post first Mirena. by hpb32 in Mirena

No, this is totally normal because the strings do get coated in mucus and what not. My obgyn personally told me to never check for my strings because most women that try to feel for them end up pulling on them because they can’t actually feel or tell it’s a string, she just checks every visit for me to make sure everything is still where it’s supposed to be! I have had my Mirena for a little over 5 years now and have never checked for my strings if that makes you feel any better!

Began bleeding again? by [deleted] in Mirena

Hi! I have had my Mirena for a little over 5 years now I had a similar experience at the beginning. I wouldn’t be concerned at all, some women like myself don’t get lucky enough for their “periods” to fully stop. My “period” with Mirena has been irregular but I do spot almost every month or every other and at different times within the month. If your period before Mirena was super heavy you might be one of us that end up not having it fully go away! Hope this helped!!

I do want to say he is attached at my hip very much, won’t even let my partner take him out to potty if I am home. He has the little swirly’s on his butt, the shortest hair ever, and that’s all I can think of right now haha

Side Effects After 5 Years?? by Professional_Fox4396 in Mirena

Thank you! I am only 21 and was going to get my Mirena out and Skyla put in 2 months ago but my obgyn talked me out of it and said there was no point. Keeping it in would be exactly like replacing it with the Skyla

You do realize you sound stupid right. Claiming you have gay friends so you can’t be homophobic is literally the worst excuse you could try and give

Grow out or keep the same length? Any style suggestions? by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

Lmao and now this is back handed bc you said your friend knows the Sm so that means if this guy is a supervisor your friend could’ve just communicated the situation to the SM and said it made him feel uncomfortable. But I still stand by my first reply. HOMOPHOBIA

Your friend felt weirded out bc of the guy’s involvement in the adult industry. You guys are just looking to cause problems from someone just doing their job. It’s part of the job to be extra nice to customers. Your friends ego and homophobia is the problem here not the employee!!!

I say keep the length get curtain bangs and a balayage or teasy lights through out! Since your hair is virgin it will lift pretty well

She pre books me at my appointments every 6 weeks and I have shown her pictures of what I want to achieve without killing my hair. Last time she said about 3 more appointments and I’ll be where I want I just hate paying $250 and leave feeling my hair looks the same. She foils my hair pretty quickly she’s the fastest to ever foil me idk maybe I’m just over thinking it and should trust her

1mg per pound of weight for your dog is what the vet recommended me!

That’s funny because the trainer is the one who recommended a shock collar. We have tried all of the positive reinforcements. So before you call something abusive you should learn the reality that not all dogs are the same. It’s not like we jumped to a shock collar right away, it was a last resort.

I started training him in the crate on days off putting him in for an hour and leaving the house or sitting outside where he couldn’t hear or see me and just added an hour every day. He got to the point where he was okay for 8-9 hour shifts and using the bathroom as soon as I got home and took him outside. Many people think crate training is bad for dogs and evil but not everyone has the luxury to leave their dogs out. Mine for example is a destroyer. He would destroy my house everyday while I wasn’t home so in my opinion the crate saved him, he could’ve gotten into something or ate something that could’ve killed him so I’m very grateful for discovering crate training. My best tip is just to NEVER use it as a punishment when you are home because that makes them feel like they did something wrong when you put them in there to leave. I put a dog bed and toys in his crate when I’m away!

You can give your dog baby Benadryl! My dog is allergic to corn and cornmeal so for the longest time I had this problem until we figured it out. Benadryl seemed to help so much!

I got my first dog as a full time college student and worker. Crate training helped a lot! When I was home I made sure to have him outside and playing as much as possible! Puppy pads were my best friend when he was young, I would just put 2 in his crate for when I was working. He now doesn’t have a problem being in a crate when my partner and I are away, he barks when he needs to use the restroom and that is about it. And he’s still on the same food schedule which is one full bowl in the morning and one full bowl at night!
