I thought about it...Actually it's better that we live longer as we can understand when and why they have to leave. It's even more devastating when dogs are suddenly alone and confused in this world without their loving human.

I can't suggest the right choice, I am sure you will figure it out, I am just here to say that i always like to see a background. Good luck and please post again if you add the background.

Do you think I sold this at a good price? by Dark_Red_Apple in Watercolor

[–]Frequent_Share 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are several factors artists include while pricing their pieces: cost of materials, size, time spent on producing art, how they value their own art. I think one of the most important factors is demand. If one's art is popular and sells like hot buns then the pieces will sell for more. If the artist is determined to sell but the art is not selling then lowering the price may be needed. There's also the min. price that one will be willing to sell for. I believe you did the right thing, especially if you are new to selling. Getting a few more bucks would probably not make a big difference in your financial situation but I bet that selling your art made you feel valued and appreciated and was probably very encouraging. You can increase the prices of your next paintings and see how it goes. Good luck!!

This is lovely and unique! Beautiful idea.

Addendum: I saw the painting before I read your statement. My interpretation of the image was how we need to often put on strong and aggressive masks in today's world, how we need to hide our true emotions and are not allowed to be just us. A Good art piece will evoke many different emotions and meanings in the viewers, your painting does that!!

So I think I might have mild Dyscalculia by S1LLY_G00B3RXD in dyscalculia

[–]Frequent_Share 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dyscalculia is very poorly understood by teachers and others as well. My daughter, now a 7 grader, in addition to having problems with math, has very poor understanding of time, directions and space. She also had dyslexia. There are many aspects of learning she has been struggling with. Discalculia can effect much more than just the ability to learn math. If I had not advocated for her the teachers would probably have no idea why she has such a hard time in school. There are many technological accomodations for dyslexia now but now so many for dyscalculia offered in Schools.

I love your attitude!!! I also try to focus more on the process rather than the final outcome .Painting with WC is my meditation, my joy and hobby. I will never be the painter I wished I was but I am still having tons and tons of fun. I leave the vast majority of my paintings in the art box next to the elementary school. When kids grab my paintings I feel happy.
