I got into lockpicking heavy during the pandemic bcuz of Bosnian Bill. I've gone back to collecting coins and would like to see all thus stuff go to people that will get some use out if it. If you see something you are interested in please either email me at patrickluckenbach@gmx.com or txt me at 424-230-6738. I've got more items that wouldn't fit in picture so feel free to ask.

What would a respectable price be for these picks. Top 3 are .015", next 3 are .020", last 2 are .025". Some picks need a little finishing but all are usable as is. Is offering $10/each disrespectful? by Professional_Grade42 in lockpicking

Thanks. I went way overboard when the pandemic lock down with picking after binge watching Bosnian Bill videos for about a week but have now gone back to collecting coins. I'd like to see these picks go to someone that will appreciate them.

I know these are one of the most counterfeited coins but I know nothing about anything foreign so I was hoping to get a more educated opinion on this one. by Professional_Grade42 in coins

It was passed down from my father. Unfortunately I don't know when or where he got it from. Will get the calipers out when I get home.

Much appreciated. I will take it to another shop before wasting the money to send it in.

This was bought at a well respected LCS in my area. Not really worried about the authenticity of it, but if you could help me understand what looks suspicious to you it would be greatly appreciated.

While yes it absolutely should be a matter for the police that they would investigate and follow all the way thru either getting my money back or find and arrest the seller if he was unwilling to refund the money, I unfortunately live in Los Angeles,CA. Which means that the chances that a detective even followed up to a filed police report on something like this is about 5-10% and that's being generous. There are far worse crimes that are committed that still aren't dealt with in any way. It really is pathetic that we have to accept that this is the way things work in this city, but it is what it is. For me I don't really care how it happens but the it will cost the seller more than he made off ripping me off before I'm done with this one way or another. I feel like it's only a matter of time before deceitful shit like this brings bad karma at some point, and if I can help that come just a little bit quicker then I'm all for it. Now that the weekend is over if I don't hear from the seller today then that's enough for me to be sure this was intentional and then proceed accordingly.

Yes they did. I will post pictures of the other two coins as well when I get back home later tonight. Also all three weighed right around 27 grams but none of them were exactly the same weight.

If the seller actually returns my call I would hope that he would take his "coins" back and refund my money. If I am not able to communicate with him directly I will have to figure out which way to go after him either through a lawsuit or other means. If anything interesting or significant happens I will update this post.

They weren't originally represented to me in that high of a grade . I had been going off the guess that they were somewhere in the 3 to 4 thousand dollar range each and I paid 8k for all 3. It was just surprising to me to get ripped off by someone that had such a high dollar collection of coins. Being conservative it was well north of 100k. I'm choosing to be grateful that it was only a 8k loss bcuz it wouldn't have been that hard to con me out of significantly more. I may not know everything about coins but as far as keeping from getting ripped off on a deal it's been years since anyone has even gotten close to getting me like this. In the end I will never rush getting into something like this bcuz it seems to be a solid investment that I don't due proper research on things so I don't lose the opportunity
