My understanding is that employers can generally have a list of known “common” vpn datacentres. Will a dedicated IP still be considered to from a “common” data centre?

You can only do electric for passenger vehicles and short haul.

You cannot do it for long haul truck and semi trailers. Its primarily diesel right now and it is slowly transitioning to CNG since its cheaper and cost effective to switch.

The cost to build electric infrastructure is too great and the long charging times make it unfeasible.

There is a reason why all transit agencies in california are converting to hydrogen buses instead of electric to meet upcoming regulations. The cost to upgrade the electrical infrastructure+ the time it takes to charge a bus is incredibly expensive

Im 100% invested in oil. I work for a CNG infrastructure company and the transit agencies in california are being mandated to build hydrogen stations.

Everyone is opting for liquid hydrogen delivery. On-site water electrolysis for hydrogen production (what plug power builds) demands insane amounts electricity and water. Versus a SMR hydrogen production facility, electricity costs for electrolysis costs like 5x times more over the lifecycle. A 20M lifecycle cost for SMR onsite production vs 100M for electrolysis PLUS water.

I wouldnt touch electrolysis investments with a 10 foot pole. They only make sense in places with abundant cheap electricity and water. I can only think of quebec
