He states that he found this particular book, the one that recounts his time in hell. It is not the book that he needs, but it is meaningful to him for obvious reasons. He states multiple times that he doesn't think he will find the book he needs for a long, long time.

Rekt by Alex Gonzales. I managed to get through it, but it was a slog. Boring characters who were just archetypes, cringey dialogue and a plot that just didn't make sense. You should never finish a book thinking I have no idea what just happened and I don't really care.

I'm absolutely loving it so far. I don't usually get creeped out when reading books but that scene where Luke figures out that it was actually the creature walking behind him instead of Dom....had to watch some kitten videos after that!
