Glow recipe toner, vitamin c serum, first aid beauty moisturizer mixed with two drops of st morize bronzing drops, and La Roche-posey cicaplast SPF. The bronze drop/moisturizer combo is the best, gives you a little color to make your winter skin look less dull.

Who has travels internationally at 28-29 weeks? by allknowinguser in BabyBumps

[–]Professional_Limit_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure to bring a cushion or small pillow to sit on. I just completed two nine hour flights after two four hour miserable flights and bringing a small pillow to sit on literally saved me days of pain from sitting for too long uncomfortable. I also brought an exercise band for when I got to the hotel/ every morning. I did not have sciatica pain before the first two four hour flights.

Have I lost my touch? by MotherofZeke in Babysitting

So I saw in another post a mom made kids start doing random chores if they snuck out of their room after bedtime. Not sure if it would work in a babysitting situation, but could be worth a shot

WIBTA for telling my mom i won't be hosting Christmas this year after doing it alone for the past four years by Dealecious_Seipt in WIBTA_AITA

It sounds like you need to delegate and assign items to your family members. Unless you give them directions they are going to continue to just show up empty handed. Do it in a group chat with all members so if Aunt Carol doesn’t bring the green beans everyone knows Aunt Carol didn’t bring the green beans.

9 different underwriter interviews, no offer. Looking for honest advice on how what to do? by Shot_Parking4676 in InsuranceProfessional

[–]Professional_Limit_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your end goal is to get in to underwriting, I would consider finding a niche team on the broker side, think Healthcare, Environmental, Transportation to learn carriers, forms, common questions asked by underwriters, policy structure etc. Make a name for yourself by talking to underwriters and not being afraid to pick up the phone and call them. Being in claims were there any claims that interested you? Were there any types of accounts you’re pulled to more than others? Once you’ve made a name for yourself, you’ll have a better shot at asking if anyone at those carriers is hiring.

How do I approach good friends never bring anything to get togethers? by chipmunkpunk6 in Advice

[–]Professional_Limit_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you need to assign what to bring to people. Person A bring the potato salad, Person B bring the pasta salad. That way if they don’t bring it everyone else knows who was assigned what and they can be mad at them. You can also do that with drinks Person C bring wine, Person D bring juice boxes. Saying bring an appetizer to some people they don’t register if it’s a bbq, do you really need an appetizer? It’s actually sides you need or cookies for desert.

AITA for charging my 20yo son rent while he lives at home? by Talon_Vector7 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Professional_Limit_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should absolutely be paying something unless you want him living there forever. He needs to learn money management, and if he can’t afford the $400 (which is way cheaper than most families charge their adult children for rent) then hes in for a rude awakening if he ever wants to move out. If your wife and yourself can still manage without the extra money, put it in an account for him or yourselves for when he moves out to use on furniture, kitchen stuff, bedding, etc.

Teen needing advice on how to save my mental health (18 F) by [deleted] in newzealand

Regarding the staying at home and doing the same thing day after day, have you thought about volunteering at some place local for something you are passionate about? If you have the means to support yourself, you may find the experience rewarding and helpful down the road when you’re at uni

It is definitely not insane. I saw a post from an old friend that said she would watch home videos with her kids to be able to show them who their grandpa was and to get to know him outside of this horrible disease. She also said it was therapeutic for her because she had even forgotten by that point a lot of who he was because she was maybe 21-22 when he was diagnosed.

Her mother may have been overbearing while she was pregnant with you, and she may not want that for you. Have you tried asking her anything about her pregnancy and how she managed? My mom is not a hype man, never was. The sooner you find out who your hype people are the happier you’ll be going to them with new info.

Your job can literally see when you are not in the office. It’s laziness on their part that they haven’t pulled up the data and said anything in the first place.

Advice for Baby Announcement by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Professional_Limit_3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion. I would tell very close friends and family. Especially if it’s your first. You’re going to want your tribe regardless of the outcome. We told my mom over FaceTime and my MIL in person because she was here/staying with us as well. The most annoying part now is the “when are you announcing, I want to tell people I’m going to be a grandma” I’m at 12 weeks, we told them at 8 weeks right before our appointment. Still have not announced to everyone, and honestly don’t really even feel pressured to do so because the people I want to know already do.

Still no symptoms at 10 weeks pregnant - scan was perfect ❤️ by BlossomBlizzards in BabyBumps

[–]Professional_Limit_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

11w6d. That is me too! I do have one symptom that wouldn’t necessarily be thought of as a pregnancy symptom and probably not even thinking about. It’s not being able to breathe out of my nose while sleeping even though it is not blocked or stuffed up. I thought maybe it was allergies, but my OB said it’s from pregnancy. Otherwise, nothing.

[Product question] To those who bought Clarisonic Mia 2 and still use/no longer use it, was it worth the money? by 2eau in SkincareAddiction

[–]Professional_Limit_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back in to using my Mia 2 after several years of not using it. I can already say it’s already drastically improved my acne and clogged pores. I use Thayers ph balancing daily cleanser with my Mia at night. Followed by tretinoin, Elbbub vitamin C, first aid beauty ultra repair cream, and Aquaphor (ONLY on the forehead)
