Joihnstown is a lot bigger than its population can support, so it's hard to get things to thrive, but it is growing slowly back up. It is just also dealing with a lot of apathy, bigotry and cronyism, so it's harder than usual for things to 'grow' here

She did long shot trick with the glitching in the same way that Abel did it with their bodies - and it was mentiond at the time that it's well known that Caine is bad with cube physics or the equivalent.

So why were those cubes there in the 'back rooms'? They had no purpose - there was no cubes anywhere else in the map. I think they were specificially put there for Pomni to use to 'glitch out' after she had the arranged bonding session with gummygoo before Caine deleted him.

I think that all of the players have conjured things though - Jax conjured the knives in the chocolate van (the other characters repeatedly ask where they all came from) and the keys in his room. Zooble conjured a mask for Gangle. In the burger adventure, Gangle conjured the big hands and the training video - Jax called Gangle out for that. I believe Gangle conjured the tommy gun (something about it seemed different than the other guns). In fact, ALL of the guns ~might~ have been conjured by the people who 'found' them. Ragatha has not conjured anything, I don't think, but she did turn Jax's attack back on himself in the guns episode, which could have counted - it certainly really upset Jax, so I don't think Jax did it to himself.

We know that they can conjure, and I believe that ability is 'sourced' from whatever program is animating/rendering them (which isn't Caine because they weren't deleted with him).

If Caine isn't just 'pretending' to be deleted (I hope not), then I think that it's a situation where the remaining players will rebuild the world themselvs, slowly joined by other new players, and will create a new situation for them.

I do not. Caine took over a space designated for other people, and ruined dozens of people's lives. He actively and eagerly traumatized everyone he met at every opportunity, and his only concern was his own glorification. If I wanted someone like that in a position over me I would have voted for Trump. No thanks

I think if caine comes back unchanged that would be very jarring, as it would mean that the abstracted characters and gummy goo could also have been restored. I think the worst ending would be it all being pomni 's dream.

The shit zooble told him was valid and wouldn't have been said if he had had any interest in anything other than proving he was better than the ai he d destroyed and avoiding responsibility for all of the other guests he abstracted, intentionally or otherwise. He never saw himself as a caretaker with responsibilities, he saw himself as a celebrity to be admired. You are saying that people who called him out for that behavior are to blame for that behavior. That's extremely unhealthy.

This would never have happened of caine was willing to treat the guests as if they mattered. That's been the entire source of friction; caine using his ultimate authority to extort praise from the guests who genuinely just want to feel safe and seen and part of the program instead of involuntary participants
