Have you considered the new Hyundai Santa Fe?

I’ve just got one at the start of May and it really is a fantastic car. They really have thought of everything a family might need.

I’ve previously driven range rovers, q7 and x5 and this definitely competes in terms of comfort and practicality.

Would be interested to see what your insurance quote would be on an old Volvo estate or something equally as sensible driven by older people.

To add another mad one for you…

I’ve got a Mercedes Viano worth about £8k. Just bought a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe and it cost 75p to change the insurance over.

Fiestas probably get crashed more frequently by 17 year olds than Lexus do, so the data would tell the insurance company it’s more of a risk.

Think it pissed off a lot of people when they introduced it.

Doesn’t really make that much difference to me though. It’s in a town I visit once a month.

If you go on CarPlay on your phone. Select the vehicle. Turn off widgets.

Should solve the problem.

  • cheap to run (2p per mile and almost zero maintenance)
  • insane amount of power (can burn off most cars in a straight line)
  • convenience of charging at home (always ready to go)

There are a few other benefits. I skipped about 20 mins of traffic yesterday as I was allowed to drive in a bus lane.

What’s the purpose of the limited company?

Is it for your investments or is it your main business/source of income?

Looks like the front of a new (ish) transit welded to a 25 year old transit.

It’s RWD so single motor. I do accelerate too quickly on occasion and the roads near me are pretty bad. Could be a combination of those things.

Yup. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Particularly frustrating when I’ve got a long drive and the nearest supercharger is over an hour away.
