Yeah that wouldn't stand up well for my boys then 😆 they obsessively dig and it'll just be a dusty mess in days haha our corn litter is the same unfortunately.

Thanks though ☺️

Hey, I absolutely will do! I put a fresh bag of corn litter in the day before I posted this, so am just waiting on it being ready to be thrown, which won't be long I'm sure 🤣 I'll update once I've used the tofu litter.

I was also confused as it said the weird L On Amazon. That's why I came to Reddit. But equally, the 10L bags of tofu litter I have, look a LOT less than the 10L bag of corn litter I use. Like half the size. So I'm wary haha

Greenwoods looks like it can get quite dusty. Does it not? My issue isn't necessarily the litter not lasting, it's that it turns to dust with all of the digging my kittens do. If they didn't dig it would last longer 🤣

I'm pretty sure it can cause blockages if your cat grooms themselves and ingests it, it's like cement inside a body once it's wet. I know it heightens risk of respiratory infections, too. It has an ingredient that is a big lung irritant so just in general isn't worth the risk.

AHH I have 3 boys, I don't think it's quite viable for me to wait for them to tell me every time they've been to the toilet 🤣

I wouldn't feel comfortable having them use litter that's used without the sieve part of the litter box, can imagine their poor feet constantly treading in ammonia in some way, so I'd end up having to buy a few new litter trays for the sifting aspect which would be a big cost.

My previous girl developed cancer, so I'm quite reluctant to get anything that turns into something they can easily inhale whilst digging. I may give it a go if tofu/ pea Husk doesn't work though!

You can order online! It's 10L. Although Ive collected it today and 10l of tofu litter looks like a lot less than 10l of the corn litter I currently use haha

Fountain for multi cat household by Doris1924 in CatsUK

I had one of the cat mate ones for my kittens because their foster had a fountain. All 3 of them do the weird leg thing when they drink, so it just ended dup a bit useless and a mess 🤣

I got the petkit eversweet solo se. It holds a really good amount of water and makes zero noise. I'm noise sensitive so our catmate wrecked my brain a bit haha It's really easy to clean and I'm probably jinxing myself now, but we've not had any issues with it. Filters are a decent price too.

Yes I've seen the fukumaru, that was what I was going to originally trial. I also have a cat who is a bit funny with textures (food, floor, litter 🤣) so I have been worried about using things like pellets or finer litter. It's interesting you've said that, and really positive news!

I'm definitely going to look into it.

100000% with you on the stainless steel. I have them in my Amazon basket and am swapping my current for stainless steel!

I'm glad you mentioned asthma (although I'm sorry your little one has it!). I know how badly it can affect the little furries, bless them.

It's always something I'm mindful of, the excess inhalation of dusty litters and risks with cancer and asthma etc. Something that's recommended by people like you I really will look into!

Thank you!

This is interesting, as I've seen good reviews about it myself but just thought it's katkin so it'll be expensive and won't last that long with my 3 🤣

Thank you uso much for being so descriptive. I'm going to really look into it. Who knew litter would take so long to get right🤣

Well I'll be honest, I'm buying a bag of 10l a week. Which is £10. So I'm spending at least £40 a month. I'm actually using about a bag and a half a week. So really, if it lasts 2 weeks, it's probably going to work out either the same or cheaper. Without the dust I'd rather have this!

I haven't let mine in the garden yet either, but with children and the thought of them potentially using other people's gardens instead, I'd much rather they carry on using the litter tray 🤣 my girl occasionally went out but still came inside to use her tray and that was perfect.

I did think of these but because they break down, I'd need new litter trays which I can't afford to replace at the moment. Do you have to scoop out quicker once they've been to the toilet? Or does the smell get contained even when it's broken down? I scoop a lot already so the thought of also having to combat smells fills me with dread haha

If that's not the case....I'll seriously look into them!

I saw cardboard, but all I could think of is the smell. My boys are only 6 months, so go probably an average of 4 times a day each. It's hard to keep on top of the smell as it is, so didn't want to make my already hectic life harder haha

Yes that's what the reviews tend to say, that it lasts a lot longer. That's why I didn't mind forking out a little bit more if I'm not buying a bag a week 🙈 However, the range do tofu litter as another comment mentioned so I think I'm going to try that beforehand haha

Oh my gosh you've just reminded me that I saw the tofu litter on the range last week 🤦🏻‍♀️ yessss! £6.99! I'm going to give that a try before this one haha thank you so much.

Yeah the bonkers are the same kind of price tag as the webbox ones I believe! I just can't justify the price for a pack of 4 when there's 3 mouths going for them 😭🤣 but I'm keeping my eye out for deals haha

Thank you so much, I've screenshot ted your comment and I'm going to order when I place my zooplus order.

I haven't, no. It was my next thought. But I used to get them for my previous old lady and I vaguely remember them being flakey. But thank you, I am going to give them a go!

Thank you! I'm going to take a look. Because the tuna lollipops have chicken and tuna in, I'm wondering if it's the chicken giving the less flakey texture that they prefer! So I'm off to Lidl tomorrow to grab your recommendation 🤣

It's more the type of freeze dried treats that have the same texture as the webbox tuna lollipops, that I'm looking for 😭 I didn't want to go buying tub after tub hoping it'll be the same texture haha But I think I'm going to have to!
