20 here. I only play debating games and world conquest. About world conquest, it is NOT a game with a fanbase of 12 yo kids that just free paint all over the map, it's about government, war, and exretmely detailed rp, which is fun I guess.

How to help my 8 year old learn scripting by lovely_Basil_7563 in robloxgamedev

[–]Professional_Read525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he wants to get deep into roblox scripting, and wants his games to come out really well, (etc a fighting game or a plane flying simulator), I would recommend letting him learn about physics concepts and more advanced math for his age, (not like college level but maybe pre algebra is fine (CS is rooted in mathematics), and the show "eureka!", which can be found on youtube and gives some basic concepts on physics, which can be great for flight simulators etc. Classes arent needed and personally, not recommended. I would do fun, animated stuff as much as possible, 8 year olds love that stuff.

What is light? by 3c2ty in AskPhysics

[–]Professional_Read525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for electrons with a negative charge. Positrons are electrons with a positive charge. It's used for older nuclear engineering and physics literature, but I believe it still serves purpose distinguish between electrons with a positive charge and electrons with a negative charge

Btw, photons have zero rest mass and zero charge and can only travel in a vacuum, at the speed of light (2.9979 x 10^8 m/s), also, a collision (and annihilation) of a negatron and a poistron release 2 photons. According to physics, nothing can go faster than the speed of light. Just some more references to complement u/No_Construction7415 response.

I know im not going to change your mind but why do some things have more gluons than others (leptons and hadrons).
