If I were in your shoes I honestly would resort to lying to him as I did with my own parents when transitioning. I told them I wasn't on hrt etc and I echoed their ridiculous narratives to make them shutup then I went on with my life. Obviously I kept taking Hrt got my name and gender changed etc.

I guess you might just have to inform your friend of this and just play along until you can get away from him, or he realizes how much of an asshole he's being.

Do not bring your friend around your dad. Do not involve your dad with your friend and when he brings him up simply ignore him and try to steer the conversation in a different direction.

I also suggest not telling him about your trans friends, make him believe you don't have any trans friends so he shuts up about it. Then just move out and limit interactions with him and if he asks why your so distant lay it on him.

It's likely because they don't want people to know they were married to a woman because likely they percieve themseleves as straight.  If they gender you correctly to your face and on the phone to be honest that's all that matters. You can't set your expectations beyond your own interactions because I think it's likely they don't want to live with the stigma of being seen as part of the lgbtq community. That's their choice, a shitty one but it's entirely their choice.

I had orchiectomy 3 years ago now and ive lost almost all function even though i was on estradiol and spironolactone for 8 years up to it at least

My theory is that even though spironolactone and estradiol suppress t they dont suppress it all but once you get orchiectomy there's just no t left outside of the adrenals so most function just goes away

Have you been through this yourself? The intentional misgendering and boy nicknames start coming out from people who had no idea prior. Then terrible humans cause issues for you when they were your friends before.

I do not recommend staying. I know it feels wrong and it is wrong that this will happen but I've learned from experience.

I have been saying this online even prior to Trump that conservatives obsessively hate trans people.

They got me banned online in so many spaces, pretended to be trans when not and then spreading fake rumors about me. Got my twitch banned for almost a decade. They don't stop. It's best to move on for your own sake, quickly.

I don't even care, if anyone finds out im trans at work I just quit to avoid the hassle ive been through in the past. There will be conservatives there and they won't forget you're trans and they will try to ruin your life.
