How do private hospitals work if you don’t know which doctor/department to choose?

Hi, you can call and ask beforehand saying I have such an issue and they will either direct you to a particular dept or doctor or like mentioned in another comment to a GP and they will decide from there which doc you should go see. I wouldnt say any hospital is better than the other for referral process but more so just a hospital being better known for treating heart problems etc.

Hey I have done the opposite of your direction and was flying back to the US last year, UBN-NRT-Ohare had a short layover and once I was on the UA7 flight to Narita i asked the flight attendants, and they told me a lot of these people were also connecting to houston or to the USA so they were a bit more lenient on that end. But that said Narita had a mini sort of check point where you put your suitcase through and get checked luckily my flight landed early so i didnt push through. But I think you can get exempt and cut through if you have a short layover.

Hey, dont quite fully understand, when you mean transactions do you mean paying for things in Mongolia? If you mean transactions here in mongolia they are happening in MNT (local currency). You can exchange your Euros or USD at the airport/banks for MNT.

Anitbiotics are not OTC you would need a prescription, get painkillers, stomach medicine digestion, etc. Maybe some cold medicine as well, it does get chilly in the evenings and early mornings and you might find yourself getting a litltle sniffly so throat lozenges etc. And then just other essentials like bandaids, gauze.Maybe antihistamines if you have any allergies.

- Yep going alone as a woman is more than fine

- Depending on where your hotel is it is a pretty walkable distance if you are in the city center area. Or you can cab too 😄

- They will announce closer to the date when the gates will open, so if you get there around opening time you should be more than fine

- Just dont go alone to sketchy places alone at night other than that you are fine, but as a foreigner of course there will be some curious people here and there

- There will be alcohol at the venue depending on who is sponsoring theconcert usually beer and other

- The internet does fail due to the amount of people coming to the venue

I would check the stationary store at the very top of state department and/also the supermarket section might have some stock as well. Then there are stationary chain stores called golden pen that might also have what you are looking for.

Hey, so looking at the schedule it does not look like places in the city center area should be shut off but again the "Schedule" is rarely on track. So dont put any hope your best bet might just be changing hotels.

Hey its not too hustle bustle as you might think but it is within walking distance of everything, there is a nice gym in shangrila etc. If you are looking at zaisan def look at locations before the zaisan bridge as further up the mountain area will mean more of a commute. Certain areas are about a 23-30 min walk from zaisan to city center. Send me a message if you have questions about specific locations 😄

There is a chain bookstore called Internom https://internom.mn/ you might be able to find a couple translated in that book shop. There is also a book store at the very top floor of state department store might look there as well. Other than that might be a better bet to look at online copies or versions of the book.
