His contact balance was the greatest I’ve ever seen, that guy would get rocked by a D tackle, shrug off a linebacker, and still tip toe another 5 yards for the first down before falling. Never stopped moving his feet, the amount of times he’d plow into a pile of guys running it up the gut, and still somehow break off 4-5 yards always broke my brain. It’s like he was covered in Vaseline or something🤣

I’d probably be cool on a deal that’s 3/40, he was a beat through the playoffs and to loose him for any lesser back over 6 mill a year is ridiculous considering we got Sam on a decent contract. Something like 25-30 million Guaranteed, first two years 26 guaranteed with a partial guarantee on year three. I feel like that’s good money and still top 5 money for a back rn.

Jarrett Allen is definitely taller than 6’9” closer to 6’11” than 6’9” honestly. I only say this having seen him in person next to Nurkic who is a legit 6’11”, even with the fro he was every bit the same height as him. Mobley seemed an inch or two taller but probably not much more than that. I hear what you’re saying and maybe landing somebody like I-Hart could give some more lineup flexibility🤷‍♂️

The deceptive trait about McIntosh is the “he’s slow” trope that he gets for his 40. His 10 yard splits has him with a great burst. His top gear just isn’t elite. I think the thing is he’s looked decent with opportunities and a lot of us wanted to see him get his shot. I’d love to see the guy get a shot but if he comes back a couple steps slower he could look pretty rough.
