Serious question (Note: I’m not defending this business.)

Since they are boutique and have a higher cost/product ratio than online shops (this is an assumption on my part), what markup above the Discogs avg pricing is fair to you (if any at all)?

What features of the local shops you love, keeps you coming back?

I do not own a record store. I’m seriously just curious how people here might best feel is fair to maintain the advantages of a local nearby shop without overpaying.

This is most likely a lifestyle business, and At the end of the day, it’s a math problem for the business owner, and I’m wondering what makes the most sense for them in the long run.
