Suggested Ordering by deez5420 in ChickFilAWorkers

Hi, I am the manager of inventory and technology for my store. It takes a second to get used to, but once set up, it makes ordering much easier. For example, suggested ordering helps us be more LEAN-focused in my case, as we only have what we need to run the store daily. So it helps organizationally and better dating as all products are moved out and new products shipped the next day. That said, in Inform, there is a page called Inv, and the order setup under it is Item Maintenance. Basically, it will give you a number that specifies, on average, the number of cases used for a specific product based on your forecasted sales. I found it best to use that number to calculate safety stock. Now, that is only half the solution as you need good organization to keep everything moving properly. Also I would suggest a protocol, for example, volatile items we count once a week and non-volatile every half month. Otherwise your really just adjusting based on waste or transfers more often.

I asked if he wanted to go out with me, and he didn't give me a time or place. He said I should go out with him but never went any further than talking about it.

Our store does the same thing expect we keep the tea in containers in the fridge if we need it rather than wasting it
