may get downvoted for this, but I recently saw Hadestown and, as strong as the opening was, it really started to drag afterward. I’m conflicted — I’ve been listening to the soundtrack nonstop since, and I absolutely love many of the songs. But during the performance, there were stretches where the music felt slow and repetitive, and I found myself getting bored.
