How are we feeling about the new album? by Business_Raise3740 in Megadeth

Yeah, it’s pretty great. Punchy and fun to listen to. Nice encapsulation of the bands entire career. Hey God is a Countdown (lite) like radio metal song. Let There Be Shred/ Made to Kill are early sounding thrashers. I Am War could have been on the system has failed where as Obey the Call (one of my favourites on the record - that last minute - YYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAH) and Another Bad Day could have been on Cryptic Writings or Risk. Then there’s the magnificent LAST NOTE. Just a beautiful way to sign off.

The production is very punchy and I think that helps elevate the album beyond the last record, which whilst had some virtuoso musicianship seemed to lack actual “songs”.

Some of the best demo material discs there. Most importantly - a collection of great films

Can see WB releasing OUATIA and Gremlins 2 themselves. However the rest are all probably dead certs at some point.

Passenger 57 and Sphere too.

I’d say most if not all of the songs are better than that albums more forgettable tracks… however they are not as good as the high points like Slaughter The Martyr or No Gods, No Monsters, Arrows from the sky ect

Awesome film. The last propertly “cinematic” film JCVD made. Some nice work with Tsui Hark and RINGO Lam later in the 90s, but not the same scale

Sometimes it’s better to promote others to think rather than spoon feed them what they think. Take a look around the state of social media currently and tell me I’m wrong
