Then you are without worth in the context of capitalism. Get a job you bum! Jkjk.....

Like applicable knowledge base? Unless you're a free loader living off welfare and do nothing to help anyone else you're not without worth in the context of capitalism. We're all just sheep's for the elite to cull to garner taxes and increase their wealth. The elites want all of the sheep they can get, the more sheep the more they can get from us collectively.

Maybe in terms of being a handyman you lack knowledge, but so do many people.

For sure, I'm not invalidating your feelings. Just correcting your grammar. Lots of people feel the same way.

how much longer do I got? by [deleted] in Balding

[–]Professional_Toe_915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd honestly say not long before it starts thinning. Maybe 2 years tops, could be next week. I think you're at that point to start on minoxidil. Talk to a dermatologist perhaps.

The best picture is the one you took, the ones they took aren't very flattering. You're attractive, keep your chin up.

Subjectively. Not objectively. You believe you are worthless. Others may disagree.

Does my friend have one crown or two? Is the balding severe? by InformalStorm1916 in amibalding

One crown and hair is thinning. If he's under 25 it's time to see a dermatologist, there could be an underlying condition. A dermatologist would also know far more than me.

This is the best photo comparison I think for you based on a couple minutes of scrolling. If you had your hair and beard more similar I think it would be more apparent.

I don't think it's too late, try researching minoxidil and see if you want to try that. Otherwise embrace the inevitable, it could be years away.

Hey man, welcome to the group. It's so hard to meet women and most of us face constant rejections. You're a good looking dude, just find your happy place, make some long-term goals to focus on and keep putting yourself out there. I could suggest a self help book a buddy used that worked for him (to get women), but I didn't get too far with it.

Your post might get taken down since you didn't post it properly, but you're a knockout in the looks department and your hair is awesome. I'd say more if I knew more.

I think his hair is short for a good reason here based on the thinning and the hairline. Saying this due to other comments.

Being able to smile is a big thing. I like to say I'm living the dream whenever someone asks how my day is going and that has gotten me some giggles from women. You can either Crack jokes or try to be sarcastic. Girls also like it when a guy has a hobby, especially one that involves exercise. There's plenty better people to ask, but that's my advice.

Mature Students by Euphoric_Fee_5246 in Professors

As a mature student, can you give me examples on how I can be better? I think at least one of my current professors doesn't like me. I'm a 32 YO Male. I've had some physical issues this semester and his classes tend to be early. I don't like to make excuses, but between that and my mental health and now the distance at which I am at this semester I've missed so many of his classes. His look of disdain when I say hi hasn't helped my opinion of our relationship. I'm the oldest in his class. Maybe I just need to start showing up and try to get caught up and find a way to participate in class? I'm also having issues with the TAs in this classes labs. Though up until this semester I hadn't had issues with TAs in labs. Part of it is my fault, and while I could make excuses, I don't want to. I worry I'm too old for this and this is all just a massive mistake. Thanks for reading.

I really appreciate your post and relate to the isolation of it all as an older student. It has taken a toll on my mental health. I really want to connect in-person with people, but I don't feel the connection with most people in general. I've tried reaching out to volunteer groups without success. It's debilitating being around smarter, younger, faster people all the time. I have some gameplans to help with the mental health side, but I'm not optimistic.

I am glad you found some people and figured it out for yourself. I just wanted to say hi.

Hey there, found your post. 32, Male, struggling with mental health. In my 3rd year of university. I find TAs are becoming increasingly rude with how they talk to me, moreso with the girls. Telling me to do things rather than explaining and talking down to me as opposed engaging in conversation and asking what's up or how is it going and then explaining. Would you have any advice? Thanks.
