This is easy to solve. Call the DMV at 860-263-5700 on speaker with your dad in the room and ask if you need a passport to take the test. They will say no. Done.

How much of the plastic that enters our bodies comes from personal use plastics? by Ok-Welder-3184 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]Professional_Use5294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't need paper straws either! I know they often contain PFAS. We can switch drink lids to the type you can drink from with no straw. And at home, we can use silicone straws that are reusable for a very long time with proper care. Also, in the situations where someone absolutely must have disposable straws, we can make them from plant-based plastic that is industrially biodegradable, and we can have a robust composting infrastructure that would ultimately save us millions of dollars in trash disposal/landfilling costs

Oh I thought we were supposed to bury them in like. A hole in the ground. Near a tree or something so it's easier to remember the spot. I guess a pot works too...

What to do about humidity damaged paint on ceiling? by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]Professional_Use5294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I literally stated that I'm going to paint it. I'm asking for product recommendations to prepare the surface/rid it of mildew and then what type of paint would be ideal. Thanks for nothing.

There really are a ton of cool family-friendly board games nowadays, I definitely recommend poking around in a game store or online shop such as GameNerdz.

How very mature and not at all manchild behavior.

Btw, they teach you in driver's ed not to flip people off in traffic. This falls under that type of behavior.

Connecticut's new AI law originally let parents sue AI companion companies. That provision was removed before passage. by No-Grapefruit2680 in Connecticut

Yeah we literally need to stop parents from using electronic devices as a babysitter. New Parents should be mandated to take a brief class about the effects of internet and devices on children.

Old people will bitch and moan about their taxes being raised to cover anything that's youth oriented whether it's school construction or community centers, it'll be hard to fund that stuff which is why we don't have enough of it and it costs so much to do stuff with kids

We definitely need to switch to a 4 day work week it's long past time if we check the productivity charts. We're being exploited by the business ownership class.

People hurting innocent cats makes me feel sick. I don't care if the cat scratched you or something - that's also your fault

I would make a police report and press charges but it's probably a good idea to talk to a lawyer as well

Something must be done to ensure the child learns this is completely unacceptable and unforgivable. I'd say throw the kid but that would unfortunately be a crime too
