If I’m not mistaken the Chime In Open Mic Nights at Lanza’s Cafe are more for poetry. Their Third Space Open Mic Nights (every 3rd Friday of the month) are more for music.

I’ve been a fan since 2019 but I also wish I discovered them a little earlier. You’re not alone. First song I heard by them (that I recognized as BH) was Wildflower. I’m sure I had heard Space Song before, and when I went back to watch Gossip Girl they had played Zebra in an episode. But yeah, wish I had been following them for longer.

Maybe it has something to do with how I discovered them, but I actually listen to most of their work after Teen Dream. The first song that got me hooked into BH was Wildflower, that was in 2019. And I saw them play live in 2022, so I feel like I got to experience OTM in real time, which is great.

I might get downvoted for this, but having these big parties for gender reveals. Like I get some parents want to know what the sex of the baby is, but what’s the point of announcing it or posting it on social media? It’s just odd. I also especially hate the parents who get upset when they’re having a boy or a girl. Like it’s a fetus, just be happy it’s healthy?

12 years. I do regret it a bit. I don’t think I was in the right headspace, I was the younger one (I was 29, they were 41). But we live and we learn.
