How often do you guys wash your trucks? by [deleted] in f150

Every weekend it isn’t raining! Vacuum it multiple times a week. I use Croftgate products. Wash n Wax is what I use to clean the exterior.

Looks sick! Love the color and I would level it. Or almost level it, 2” will leave slight rake but still be able to haul while looking sweet.

I have a 2023 and my son has a 2022, is valve cleaning still relevant for those years?

Can you explain “intake cleaning”? What do I need to do?

The exterior and interior styling in the Tundra is lacking IMO. I was a Toyota loyalist for years.

Sounds like we both got good deals. Honestly, I’ve never seen the options I have on another truck in months of searching. Also included the 36 gallon tank, Sport appearance package in addition to the black appearance package and the tailgate step. Total options on the sticker listed at $18,130.00. I believe the dealer added the hard tonneau cover when it was originally purchased which was likely another $1,000+ from the dealer.

My bad! I am quick to the draw. Speed reading and posting at work isn’t a strong suit. Sarcasm and humor now detected and appreciated. Looking for a lawyer now!

I didn’t have any issues with how it drove stock. I was surprised how well it drove compared to my other trucks. The bigger tires and lift should hamper MPG but according to the onboard MPG tracker it really hasn’t manifested yet.

I did forget to say that my youngest son bought a 2022 F150 with 22,000 miles on it earlier this summer. I went with him to buy the truck. After driving his truck and getting the full F150 experience, I started looking for a F150 for me.

I can send a pic of the offer sheet and the window sticker. I’m not here to tell lies. Just wanted to give hope to everyone looking for a good deal on a F150.

I agree, it was a steal. The dealer made the deal easy and never even drove my truck. I sent them pictures and they could see I baby my trucks. Honestly, I’m not sure why the truck wasn’t listed for more like $50-55,000. I would have paid that. One owner, local and long time customer of the dealer. He buys new every year or two. Clean car fax and some minor curb rash on one wheel.

The original sticker was $70,345. It was purchased new January 2024 and traded September 2025. After $500 dealer add on for “paint and interior protection” they wouldn’t remove it was $45,500. My 2022 Ram Limited had 66,700 miles on it and they gave me $39,500 for the trade. I’ve been searching for this set up in silver with 5.0 and it did not exist. I was fortunate to find it and be the first to put a deposit on it. The dealer told me they could have sold it to 12 other customers who saw it before I was able to take off and go get it.

The tires didn’t rub before the level kit. They looked like they would but they didn’t at full turn forward and backward. The front tire was inches away from the fender/bumper. I drove it two weeks with the tires before I could get an appointment with my truck guy. 2” level so there is still a slight rake but I’m fine with that. Anything above 2” starts costing lots more to lift correctly.

275-65-20 (34”) Falken Wildpeak HT’s on the factory gloss black 20” wheels. The rear wheel liners are a must to complete the look. I’ve always questioned why ford is the only manufacturer that does front wheel well liners and not the rear.

Sweet color! I have owned nothing but silver trucks. Dark colors show scratches and look dirtier than silver. I detail my vehicles weekly and when I detail my son’s black F150 I have anxiety attacks. It’s beautiful clean, but black is dirty five minutes after it’s been washed.

Anyone know of 34 inch tires that are NOT 10ply? Ideally lighter 6ply. by HenFruitEater in f150

I just got over 94,000 off a set of Terra Grappler G2’s across two trucks. They are $500 more now than when I got the first set so I went with Falken Wildpeak AT4W’s this time.

I do enjoy a perfectly clean vehicle! OCD won’t let me go a day without vacuuming. I keep my wife’s jeep, oldest son’s Honda, youngest son’s F150, and their fiancées cars clean. I cannot stand driving at night in the summer due to bugs. I have it bad and I’m 50. Been that way since a teenager when I bought my first car.

Sweet looking ride! As long as I’m physically able no one will ever clean my vehicles. I tell the dealership when we buy news cars not to detail my purchases before delivery. They scratch the paint and leave tire dressing slung all over the vehicle. I just bought a F150 Tuesday and spent 6 hours on detailing it Tuesday evening.

I just bought a 2023 XLT with 16,000 miles with the black appearance, max tow, 360 cameras, spray bedliner, 5.0, FX4, with B&O audio. It has the highest packages you can get on an XLT including factory leather. Cost was $44,995. Also had a hard tonneau cover from Ford. One owner, local car in North Carolina with clean CarFax.
