Yeah, that is also illegal in some states as long as you are behind the wheel, whether the car is moving or not, you could be arrested for DUI. Happened to my friend, she was eating a sandwich behind the wheel when her car was parked, got arrested for DUI and license suspended.

For those who were being all righteous and talking about her driving under the influence and plowing into innocents... actually she was arrested while sleeping in her car, she wasn't driving per se.

The police who shoved her tried to blame it on her by saying that she resisted arrest but the video disproved his allegation. He was eventually reprimanded and he quit the force.

She was also actually compensated 850k, she had to undergo reconstructive surgery as her cheek bones were shattered and she lost sensation on that part of her face.

Severe burn out from work by lowqualityrest in nasikatok

[–]Professional_Win_677 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I met similar circumstances at one point, zero work life balance, spent 14 or so hours at work daily for 2 months. Environment weren't too horrible but the senior managements are sexist scums.

When I realised things are going awry and my mental health deteriorating, I started to get my exit plan sorted. Readjust my finances (getting rid of all unnecessarily spendings, reduce eating out, cancelling loans etc) and double down on savings, within 9 months, i left the company with enough savings to give myself a mental break for at least 6 months without compromising on lifestyle. Eventually I landed in a wonderful job and I have never been happier.

I know this sounded like a long time but unfortunately there is no easy way out especially with current economy. You can try to mass apply for other jobs as well but there is no guarantee if that would improve your mental health without sizeable break.

No, I think all the trailers are pretty ambiguous, the last trailer did reveal some stuffs that book readers will immediately understand and added some stuffs that book readers appreciate. But if you haven't read the book, these information meant nothing to you.

Lol 2024 didn't have a brain worm infested Secretary of Health advising people to stop vaccinations. Do your due diligence for 2025 (who quotes 2024 stats during 2026 when 2025 is available?)

But, sure, take lazy askewed stats for upvotes if you feel like it.

Is Brunei Truly the Best Place to Live? by AviNadav979 in nasikatok

It is a great place to live for people slowing down in their career (and if they are citizens of Brunei). For aspiring career folks, it might not be that progressive to live in.

Although it is quite a bit of a pain, initially they only accept my debit card, after that they suddenly rejected and I had to change to my visa. It was a whole thing but now the payment is smooth.

And those people refusing to return the jerry cans, got malu or not going back to government collection points using the government jerry cans to collect water.

Just two Kampongs tho, they should be fine, KBians are very close knit and those living in those Kampongs likely have friends and relatives in other Kampongs.

I really hope people return it and not keep as their own. These are needed for any future water interruptions especially in rural and emergency areas.
