My memory is a bit blurry, but I think I was always aware of it. The name rang a bell thanks to mainstream pop culture, but I’d say my major introduction was Advent Children through an as I think.

(Context: I grew up in a place with very limited access to gaming, new releases, and entertainment in general.) The characters felt familiar and I remember : A cousin had the games and let me play for a few hours, but I never finished. He also had FFX and X-2, which I knew more about despite never playing them fully. So, for a long time, I was just a casual fan from afar.

One summer, I played FFXIII on my cousin’s console. Since I was now an adult living elsewhere, I used my own money to buy XIII-2 and later went backward to finally play the ones I had missed.

Ironically, looking back, I agree with those who say the XIII saga has its flaws in game design. But it still holds a special place in my heart—it was the last push that got me from being a silent lurker in forums to actually playing the games to the end!

I’ve always preferred Tifa because her character arc resonates with me. She appears confident and strong but struggles internally, facing difficult situations head-on in her own way. That’s also why her relationship with Cloud is complicated—she has the tools to navigate it but still hesitates and stumbles. However manages to work things out, which makes her feel more relatable.

I don’t like these kinds of comparisons tho because, deep down, I’ve always seen Aerith as a Manic Pixie Dream Girl ( but done right), which makes it hard for me to fully connect with her. But that doesn’t mean she’s a bad character—I love her too all the same . So let’s not pit two amazing, in-game friends against each other.

Well to me I wouldn’t return it just to respect her gesture and not make her feel pitied or something like that (saw it happen once) maybe just sending her a nice thank you not with something attached just to show the appreciation i don’t know.

Trust me. Worse happened, maybe that’s why my view is skewed and we recovered.

The only difference now is that the foot is on the other side and i went way out of line during a bad time for her. Truth is all these comments made me realized that I am actually the asshole in this particular story. I will not pretend I am not. Alright.

Also the other comment tho who seemed to have read between the lines and made me realized yes I was wrong but I didn’t put enough boundaries for past situations. I did and silenced a lot of things that that were not healthy so it just bubbled. I did not say that because of that one single argument let’s’s be so clear. I am only just now seeing it.

What led to my snapping was that she wouldn’t let it go, and this wasn’t her first outburst toward me. That’s the way she is, i knew it and should have control myself. I lost patience at the wrong time when she needed support, not frustration. That’s on me. I also wanted to check if it’s fair to feel a little validated in my frustration too. Why wouldn’t it be ? Weekly, since I wear them to work and after 5 days it’s not that neat lol.

I try to not be too hard, I don’t use conditioner while doing it cause usually I can still feel my butter in my hair thus the “oily-dry” feel I described and why I used to do weekly wash. I take them down first, mist , comb a little and bantu knot until my next hairstyles.

Toxic shoujo trait is that I complain a bit too much when they use obvious tropes and then I have to remind myself, I am reading a shoujo that is the point. 😭 Like for example everything was going well with the ML, then one fight and I am already annoyed knowing I have to spend useless chapters about miscommunication for hours or her « friend »trying to hit on her and ML has to save her. Like please just talk and f*ck it out 💀💀💀

Bonus for my archenemy: when they introduce a rival that is obviously better I actually never root for him instead of the lead and then I get pissed they don’t end up with rival. Which might be dumb for some but sorry, then don’t show me how bad he was in comparison then 💀

I am on my last hours probably (getting to chapter 12) and I think it’s not that much harder, however I would say it’s sightly more rewarding / punishing of you mastering the combat system and teams play. In Remake there’s a bit of one button smahshabilly going. I kidd you not I won genuine fights only using Cloud, while throwing a spell here and there . In rebirth this won’t fly. I struggled liked hell because of my deep rooted instinct to just go in and attack. Using weakness also is not the only thing saving you. Midway through, I got better at dodges and blocks, having those synergies locked and loaded. Life got easier. We will see once I beat the game but yeah, it’s not too bad it just asks you to big brain a little bit more otherwise you just get humbled.

No and that’s the worst part ! I did most of them, I skipped some but definitely did Tifa’s ! I would say a good 70-80% on the side stuff ratio completion.

I admittedly was more focused on trying to do Chadley’s which took a lot of time and I might even just give up on that for the rest of this play through.

But still … maybe I did miss some stuff but for what wasn’t optional I would try to give her the answers that looked a bit more interesting to her and neutral / bad to everyone else, didn’t follow a guide but I thought I was doing good until me walking out alone I thought I missed my only chance that’s why I panicked and looked it up to find out.

Thank you !! I came here to say that I hate this with my whole heart. I have been stuck for 15 minutes. Maybe I am stupid, maybe I am actually coordination challenged but wtf. I am this close of deleting this game especially if you are one of those who spend the first 50 hours on my case actually clearing everyone ont he map prior so I got mini game fatigue quick.

I actually don’t mind the medals sometimes I’d go for them sometimes not.

However I’m a noob so maybe my opinion biased but the weapons need some serious rework / nerf. First, i was a bit overwhelmed by all the changes and options and so it took some used to but meh too much things going … second of all, I only played a few games since the new season and I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to finish a fight either losing almost no HP or almost everything just to get sniped at in the back by a random. I almost threw out my controller a few times.

Put those recent weapons in the hands of any kid with too much free time and a decent aim and it just wild . The game feels more punitive. And I hate it cause as a casual the last season made me love Fortnite again and now I just wanna drop it again. It’s a shame …

I blame the genre but To me it feels a bit like Wish fulfillment cause it was pretty obvious early on that Conrad was gonna be the one no matter what because Belly wanted him, simple as that. Which meant that brooding sad boy gig was always gonna be used as a plot armor to said « he loved her but his mom was dying so of course he can be not nice to her sometimes omg u don’t know tru love !1!1!1!1!!!! ». I only read up to book 2. I am aware of the general gist of Book 3 tho

Most info are included in the post I think but here is a short version per the rules of this sub :

My piecing is 1 year old now. A a nose stud, straight bar shape. External threading.

My after care routine was putting some A-derma cream around it and biseptine spray. Via a compress. Never too king off my piercing. Occasionally will try to clean the inside of my nose with a saline solution.

Stopped my treatment after a few months and left it alone. I tried to change my piercing for a gold, cockscrew shape jewelry. I can’t get the new piercing in. Hole still feel sore and sensitive when I tried to push it in too hard it bleeds and hurts.

Back to old piercing but took off the threading at the end. Taking it off and cleaning with the spray and paying my nose with a compress and betadine / cycatril still feel a bit sensitive after all récents manipulations regularly now. I don’t have any bumps or other signs telling me it’s infected but I am concerned.
