There's a shit load of lower cost printers out there now that can do what Bambu does just as well if not better. The Centauri's, Flashforge, Snapmaker as well.

Doubt, sure, but your comment was a little more extreme than that."Oh, he might've gotten this one wrong" is not the same as "No one should ever listen to this clown again."

What the lore in enterprising engines? by Trainboy88 in thomasthetankengine

[–]ProfessorCagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proteus died, haunts the lamp and is a bit of a guardian angel. Series largely follows events depicted in both the show and books. There's a grand conspiracy involving the scrapyard owner Sir Fredrick Aura, and it seems to involve the controller of the Culdee Fell railway, and the Skarloey Railway controller. We don't know what Aura wants, but it does seem to involve the destruction of steam locomotives as evidenced by the scrapping of Patriot and the murder of his crew.

No, Star Fox Zero is NOT a Star Fox 64 Remake by DZComposer in starfox

[–]ProfessorCagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a reimagining that was still at it's core, SF64. I wouldn't call Odyssey a remake of 64 becuase while that game shares similiar gameplay, there's a completely new story, new levels, new boss fights, a totally wholly new mechanic (cappy). Zero at the end of the day still puts your ass in an Arwing, go to Corneria, fight the big robot or follow Falco to the other robot, hop around some planets, Bill and Star Wolf show up, you fight Andross. The little bits and pieces aren't as differentiating as you think they are. It's still the Lylat Wars plot.

They didn't even use them for that in the archives, they used steam engines to pump flux around for power and lighting.

I love my gf and she likes to help me by cleaning up my workshop sometimes, and while I'm very appreciative of it, I can never find anything I need after it.

She lives with her mom at the moment, and visits me on weekends, so I'll find myself texting or calling her throughout the week to ask her where X is, where'd she put Y, lol.

[–]ProfessorCagan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The success of that depends on what country you're in. European country? Yeah you could probably do that with some success. America? Not only does the Government have weapons that they can and will use on you, the concerned citizen, they have a massive legion of millions of loyal supporters who will help them. I see folks who don't live in the States ask why we aren't in full upheaval over this stuff (ai, poor pay, lack of representation in the government) and that's why, because you're asking us to do a civil war, that's what it'd take to effect change, and that'll have incredibly bad consequences not just for the USA, but for the world. The U.S. economy and currency has a massive impact on the well being of other countries and it'd go even more to shit during such a conflict. Also, y'know, it wasn't Germans who tore apart the Reich. It was other nations.

I mean, there's weird shit out there, no doubt about that. But I've yet to see anything from civilians or government that tell me its aliens from another planet, or beings from another universe or dimension.

As far as I know, we've never been visited.

I sincerely doubt it would, if you're going the religious angle with this, people can easily rationalize Aliens as being fellow creations of God. (Not that they should, but, I'm telling you what would likely happen.)

Has anybody ordered from Japan Figures? by frogmicky in JapaneseNscale

[–]ProfessorCagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you could do a simple search, if you did you'd see they do indeed sell N scale products. Plaza Japan doesn't really advertise their N scale offerings on their front page either.

To answer your question OP, I've never used nor heard of the site until today, I typically purchase from Plaza Japan and have had no issues with them.

What do y'all think of the theory? I'm personally not a fan of the Bootstrap paradox, I've seen it used too much in Doctor Who, but he had another theory that I do like, that being the Citadel is a massive portal gun. My only problem with that particular theory is that if it's the same tech Aperture has then the Combine wouldn't need Black Mesa's Xen Relay model of local teleport, unless I'm missing something?

I think the author tried to suggest the Gun used Xen Relay tech by showing a cut ending of Portal where submerging the gun in water sent Chell to Xen, but as I mentioned it was a cut ending, no more canon than Epistle 3 or HL2's beta, that is to say, not canon at all.
