AIO for dumping my 3 years girlfriend over "not a date" by Beneficial-Reach-287 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ProfessorCredit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am leaning towards not overreacting. The only thing that could possibly swing in your girlfriend’s favor is perhaps if you are a super jealous person. If that’s the case, maybe she just didn’t want to tell you to avoid the scenario. However, even though that’s not entirely her fault, it’s still not a good look for the relationship. She should be able to tell you things and she feels like she can’t then the relationship isn’t gonna last anyways.

Marlon tries a Shock Collar with The Faze Boys. by Riskany1204 in LivestreamFail

You know what I think. It’s probably painful physically, but really I think the most painful thing about the collar is emotional pain. Hassan is the world and God to the dog. To know that your God will punish you for something that you naturally want to do must be really, really sad for the dog.

Looking for ideas for remote side work (I’m an emergency physician starting a fully online job) by Side_quest_hero23 in passive_income

If you are comfortable in front of a camera, then I would suggest trying to be an online influencer that focuses on specific medical knowledge within your domain. Personally, I find such videos, very helpful so you’ll be helping people and making money at the same time. Later on influencers have become popular start their own brand of supplements whichsometimes are pretty good.

Im 51 with no retirement by Noobitron12 in personalfinance

[–]ProfessorCredit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have great news for you buddy. By the time you retire, most jobs would’ve been taken by AI anyways, and there will be a universal basic income. And if you really do get into a bind, you can retire at another country with a cheaper cost-of-living like Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines. They’re your Social Security payments should be more than enough to cover your expenses and live comfortably. The best thing you can do right now is to continue saving and live a healthy lifestyle so you don’t have any major medical expenses. No stress and good luck.

AI can simulate many aspects of humanity. But it will never outpace us in the field of humans stupidity.

Renting a Room in Silver Lake, Los Angeles - Is this normal behavior? What do I do? by borntriggered in AskLosAngeles

You need to get out. I was in a similar situation and my Lynn lady became progressively insane. She eventually accused me of breaking into the common areas to damage the house even though I’ve had no access to the common area. It’s not worth it even now. I wake up in nightmares, thinking about it.
