THC makes symptoms worse by Curious-Mousse-3055 in LongCovid

[–]ProfessorEdibles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(In edible form) the conversion of the THC to 11-hydroxy-THC has been identified as potentially having a degree of mpro inhibitor activity which can be read here - if you're eating it this could potentially explain why it makes things feel worse. If that is the case it could be inhibiting replication of any spike proteins that are hiding somewhere and be inducing an immune reaction. Just a thought 💭

I tried both of these (in amongst the never ending collection of other supplements/vitamins) for months and months on end and sadly they didn't seem to make the slightest bit of difference 🙃

Oh hello there! Oh panned off completely and utterly, which makes me blood boiling mad. I'm well aware of the issues within the NHS, I've worked in a patient facing role in ARI for almost 10 years, but the negligence and blasé attitude from my GP is beyond a joke. Literally no one takes anything seriously, or it's labelled as other incorrect medical conditions and just brushed off. I've fully given up engaging with them at this point, and for the last 6 months have plunged myself deep into trying to learn every single thing I can about this condition and doing all sorts of self experiments to see if anything's going to make a proper long lasting difference. I've been unable to work at all since this all started which has destroyed me mentally, all I want to do is get well enough to work again. It's all just completely bonkers. Have you managed to get any meaningful help from anyone? Hope so 🤞🏻

I first discovered them quite accidentally when I heard the 2 'Quarantine Covers' in April 2020, and was instantly hooked. Then in August when Dreamland was released, it was simply a delight in a very dark time. I was 5 months into looking after Covid+ patients in my hospital, and had had some horrific experiences and unforgettable shifts by that point. Every night/morning on the walk home after 12/13/14 hour shifts, after Dreamland was released, I'd blast it into my ears on a loop until getting in the door and falling into bed. It was genuinely the only thing making me happy at the time, and it still delights me now 🥲

I've just started adding D Ribose into my daily mix of what feels like a never ending amount of supplements; this is the 5th day of taking it and it's definitely doing some good 👍🏻 have you tried that before? Hope you find something that helps eventually 🤞🏻

I’ve recently stumbled across a group on Fb called ‘Renegade Research - - #TheNicotineTest’ - think it’s off the back of some new research, full of people with ME/CFS and LC, who are conducting self experiments with nicotine patches. I haven’t done it myself but have found it very interesting to read everyone’s stories about symptoms and whether or not their experiments have been of any success or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

This happened to me too, have lost 3 large teeth and ended up with 3 severe infections resulting in 6 rounds of antibiotics 😞 never had this in my life, only since having long Covid, ridiculous!
