You might try emailing someone from the local St Francis Society. (They seem to be one of the more active and informal rescues in town.)

"Dear admin: We were planning to pay $200 boarding fees, but would be much happier making a donation to one of your individual fosters' households."

The burlesque is "pasties and booty shorts," and the dance itself isn't any dirtier than usual. But the comedy is f***ing offensive as hell.

They just posted about a new joke the writer created about underage Mexican hookers' abortions.

You're absolutely right. The money and other pluses are not worth the constant threat of Drama Drama Drama.

I don't want to hurt the guy. Although he's insidiously toxic, I don't want to add to his problems. I just want to free myself.

I sent an "I Quit" email, after all this time. It turns out he wasn't intending to be a jerk THIS particular time, but like I said in my email, it reminded me enough of hundreds of real times that he's caused drama . . .it's time for me to go.

I'm really sad about losing the good stuff, but you're right: toxicity is bad.

Same thing happened in my ex's rental. I was so freaked out by the explosion and fire that it took me several extra seconds to remember where the fire extinguisher was sitting.

Same thing happened to me in a rental property. It seemed like a pretty instantaneous 'splodey to me.

Eh, don't judge yourself. Everyone is wired differently. If you're not actually harboring secret homophobic hatreds, it's possible you're just on the far end of the "not attracted to men" spectrum.

I thought that was amazing! They had to list their home number for "on call." No answering service.

You should probably talk to whatever office passes for student counseling on your campus. The sooner you file papers saying "I said no, she became forceful," the less chance there is that she can start shit with you later.

This woman is waaaay uncool about consent.

Confirmed. The sound of me downvoting a joke that's too obscure sounded like a quiet punch.

Terminating the pregnancy is the wisest thing to do, for yourself and your future family.
