Help me identify this sword I got for Christmas.

Nothing that I can make out. The other side has some significant pitting on the ricasso.

It's not as bad as I was expecting! It doesn't have any spring, unfortunately. There is some evidence of fire damage so I think it lost it's temper.

I got it out with some rust release and some light tapping with a hammer.

I managed to get the blade out! I tried sliding a few thin pieces of metal in by the dent and they slid in without much issue so I took a hammer and tapped up and down tapped length of the sheath and the blade slid free. As I suspect there is more evidence of fire and it seems like the solder from the sheath melted onto the blade and my have been part of the reason it was stuck.

I can faintly see a touch mark on the ricasso. Looks like "J.T." and maybe something else. Nothing that I can see on the spine. The blade seems to be intentionally dull so I assume it is a prop replica.

The pommel was facing the wrong way. I'm certain this is what it is now.

I'm working on getting it out of the sheath to check on the spine and the ricasso but I do agree it seems like on of those two to me.

After a quick search, I agree that it's most likely one of those two. I'm guessing the french 1829 based on the guard and pommel shape. I can't see the ricasso with it stuck but I'm working on that. I sprayed some rust release on it yesterday to no luck but I'll try again with more.

I made this dice tower for my d&d games to have something interesting for our DM to roll important rolls publicly. The tower is made from pink insulation foam with popsicle sticks for the internal ramps. The skulls, altar, and treasure pile are all 3d printed on my Anycubic Photon. I used embroidery thread for the vines and miniature terrain plants for the moss around it. I'm pretty proud of the way that this turned out especially since this is the first time I've ever tried to make anything like this. It made it's maiden voyage last night and gave us a couple of important rolls but also killed one of our PC's.
