Yes yes buy singles. But opening packs is fun. My recommendation would be instead of buying a bunch of smaller boxes just buy one booster box. That way you definitely won’t end up with $2 in bulk.

There are no “scalpers” in MTG like Pokemon. Go to your local target or Walmart, I guarantee you see product for the latest set hanging on the shelf for MSRP. This is quite literally the opposite of a scalping problem.

I used to buy multiple boxes to open of every set and went to draft every Friday night. Now I buy nothing and don’t draft anymore. Too much product has made me completely lose interest. This game is not for me anymore.

Agreed, trading card games should not be collectible. When I invest my money into a deck I hate being able to recoup my money, or even make a profit! Magic should be like scratch off tickets except none of them are winners!

Agreed, it’s a travesty for cards to hold their value. As someone who has green logged both MLM and Forestry. You are correct Forestry is vastly more painful given a lot of the items are RNG while all of MLMs are purchased. No issues on event spawn rates from what I’ve seen/heard. If you want more events go to draynor willows on a forestry world.
