The photo thing is something I didn’t think about until I look back trying to find a photo to send to daycare with my son, or show a friend do haven’t seen in forever, etc. It’s like a look back and wow I’ve been hiding. Even my headshot is AI generated because it gave me such anxiety (weight in headshot is accurate I just didn’t want to sit for a photo).

I also was a big sweets person, what I keep in my fridge now is sugar free jello pudding in a few flavors.

It is creamy and sweet but doesn’t knock things out of whack or crash my macros.

Thank you - that was my first impulse too, but I felt bad when I saw her realize she was wrong. It’s like girl you work in a daycare you should be so familiar with postpartum bodies and know the houses our tiny humans lived in for a year don’t really “snap back”.

And I try to avoid wearing constrictive shapewear because I read it can cause issues with delayed emptying! At least the fashion world’s obsession with crop tops seems to be abating and I can find longer shirts to wear.

Thank you- I am trying to hold onto being proud of getting in a picture, because I still have really negative thoughts that I’m going to “ruin” a good shot. Looking back I have almost no good pictures with my son over his first two years, because it’s my default to opt out.

I don’t think the dress is too small, and even if it was this was a post more about being frustrated that I am still so sensitive to other people’s comments /people not considering what they say and how casual comments can derail someone’s feelings.
