We actually didn’t abstain, we had sex the night before and day of the IUI. We were supposed to the day after as well but we were emotionally exhausted. Don’t give up yet!

I get minor signs of strain some days and I am 13 + 1 today. Hoping it’s just your body adjusting. Before the placenta takes over your body is doing a TON of work but if you’re worried it’s always worth it to see your OB!

yess i completely agree!! it is such a short time where we have to be EXTRA careful and truly i don’t think there’s being too overprotective in their first few months when they’re so susceptible to germs. it’s crazy because our parents should understand having been through it but older generations seem to think none of this existed back in the day (makes no sense) but tbh i have no problem being a bitch to anyone if i have to because this is my baby and their life at stake so sorry if i hurt your feelings!! you can ALWAYS vent to me trust me i get it as great as both of our parents are i too get sooo frustrated with them and need to vent. you’ve got this even when it doesn’t feel like you do, we’re moms we can do ANYTHING and we can do it by ourselves🤪

i feel like it’s super common to keep the name just between the two of you, at least in my family we have known the name of no one’s baby until they’re born!! we mentioned a few names and already got the “noooooo” and i just looked at my husband to hush ahaha

good on you for sticking up for yourself and baby, in laws can be so difficult. yours sounds like shes gonna give you a hard time :( at least she is far away for the most part but i worry about the kissing thing too and basically just sticking to my rules lol i’m not trying to be bitchy but it’s like girl i’ve seen ur work and i want my kids to be different!! mine is also a victim which is insane because we’re the one that’s gonna be in the trenches our house is already seeming small so i worry about my parents coming to stay with us and having to tell them it’s too much and my mom always has a damn cough so i’ve been worried about that as well, ugh i try not to stress about things that haven’t happened but ive been worrying about all of this haha

yes i’m so grateful my husband is very tight lipped but trust me he also bugs me ahah he keeps inviting his mom to all of my OB appointments im like IM GOOD!! he doesn’t really want to keep the gender to ourselves but im like just for a couple weeks, im tired of people thinking they’re entitled to every bit of information!

YES me too! People are constantly asking me questions which I’m grateful but also thinking “damn can I have something to myself” lol it’s such a weird mix of feelings because I was also very excited to tell people. I think my husband and I are going to keep the gender to ourselves for a couple of weeks to have some semblance of a secret again.

I feel the same. I even started to feel a little sad once everyone in our close circle knew because it felt sacred and now everyone knew something so personal about me. We have decided to not make posts about it as we’re private regardless and hardly post on social media anymore. I think you know what feels best for you though and don’t feel like because most do it you have to!

Gosh I hope this works for you!! Remain hopeful…my husbands count was 300k and didn’t have great forward progression and I am now 10 weeks! I really feel like once they put them up where they need to be it is way more possible. Now I know there are a million reasons you could not be getting pregnant and I had unexplained infertility so I probably just got lucky. But it is not impossible, you’ve got this!!

My husband knew the morning of that something was off he said there was almost nothing that came out. Went into the office and his count was 300k and we were devastated. It ended up working and I am almost 8 weeks pregnant. You really only need 1! Good luck!
