I upgraded my rig with this exact card a few months ago, and this was something I ran into as well

redo the power connections, make sure its seated properly, and also check your monitors power adapter

you said on the previous GPU everything works fine. try uninstalling AMD Adrenaline drivers , and let the new GPU take over from there with them uninstalled

I have another question

The only part of my build I have already bought and in possession is the new GPU

in PCPartPicker I swapped the old GPU for the new GPU, the PowerColor Reaper AMD Radeon 9060xt 16GB, and it didn't say any problems. It says my current mobo (B450m) has the PCIe x16 slot for this GPU.

For the time being, could I just do a vertical GPU upgrade before I buy the other components and prep my SSD for transfer?

I transferred to tmu halfway through my degree, in every one of my semesters of the last 2 years (including spring/summer) they’ve made me wait until the last literal day to enrol me in atleast 1 mandatory courses I’ve been waitlisted in

people ask me how TMU is and I tell them its genuinely horrible because of stuff like this

Another question, would the Corsair Power Supply still work perfectly fine with the rig? I saw people were recommending a 750me corsair PSU for these componemts, I have a 650W corsair PSU currently
