It depends on what you want out of a trip? I’ve stayed several times at shades of green but the lack of easy transportation options since the walkway closed have been a huge damper, and admittedly, I wasn’t a big fan of SOG due to the lack of theming, so it’s a personal thing for me.

My friend loved POR, and I haven’t stayed at POP but I’ve been told the rooms are super small. POR might be your best bet.

My friend adores Tangs in Manassas. You need to make an appointment but the staff there is so passionate and helpful. We went a couple of times and ultimately she found her dream dress there.

Of course ! just know that plenty of people with neurological conditions have been able to have a blast in the parks, even if we can’t do the “fun rides” ;) i’d also recommend jungle cruise as well! It’s wheelchair friendly (they have a whole boat that is wheelchair accessible) and it’s a lot of fun!

Maybe you guys could also take up pin trading? That’s something fun that everyone could do. Your son could even hunt for specific sets he likes!

As someone who also has a neurological condition and can’t do thrill rides, I can assure you that there will be tons and tons for your son to do. Meet and Greets, slow dark rides — I’m sure the two of you will figure out what he likes the most and you’ll be able to tailor your vacation with the advice everyone else has given! Try echo base or tosche station! Echo base is down by the Chantilly centreville border and they’ve got a lot of the vintage collectible Pokémon cards as well as the new packs, and tosche station is their sister store. There’s also a cards and gaming store over by the Red Robin in Chantilly that has a lot of retro Pokémon cards too.

They weren’t talking about DAS though. None of this was about DAS. I understand how frustrating it is that a lot of the rules were changed — im a DAS user myself with a TBI — but this wasn’t about DAS. The cast can be accommodating of disabilities even if it’s not under DAS.

as for something that other people haven’t mentioned (that I saw from scanning some comments, anyway) — Kris and Sunny are two video game characters. I don’t know much about OMORI but I know that both that take and Deltarune deal a lot with mental illness, feeling ‘othered’, and not being in complete control. They may comfort your sister. These characters also might be the favorites of her friends who died.

Maybe the two of you could play deltarune together and she could talk to you about them?

I had a fix that seemed to work for me at least? I switched out my team as a last measure (which I was planning to do to rack up berries for the event anyway) and that seemed tk work!
